2000 MTA New York City Subway Battery Operated Train Set

6 year old loves the set. He needed help with the tiny stickers. The track sits on top of the supports that are easy to knock loose, but the train runs even with up to 3 supports knocked out.

THIS SET IS A GREAT PROJECT THAT BOTH CHILD & PARENT can put together.It does require :- Glue, preferably crazy glue from your dollar store to glue all the loose parts- Use basic nuts & bolts to weigh down the attached cars to keep them on the provided trackI was raised from a family that made train sets from the old train kits needing gluing & it was fun & fond endearing memories I hold close all my life shared with my father which spurned my desire to become a civil engineer & thus retired from quite comfortably.See the attached photos of my finished train set I finished with this fine set. Remember this is for ages 6 & up & for parents who wish to seed family memories & instill a seed for a fledgling future civil engineer whom we all know can make 6 figures. What you invest in your kids , they will become. Merry Christmas to all.

This has way too many pieces that don't fit together very well. The track themselves fit ok but the green pieces that elevate them are useless. The tracks just sit on them and the slightest touch makes the tracks fall off the platforms. Also, the train station just sits next to the tracks. There is nothing holding it to the tracks. Being a native New Yorker, I love the concept of this toy. There are stickers that allow you to customize the station and trains. Though the one train says F, there are A and D stickers that allow you to change them. This would definitely be a 5 star product if the pieces fit better and stayed in place.Update 8/2/17- As expected the pieces are all over different toy boxes despite my efforts to keep everything together. The trains kept coming apart and the tracks, stations, bridge, etc are scattered all over. Despite this, however, I will buy the set again a sit is on sale and additional track pieces can be bought at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn. This time around I will glue some of the pieces together and see if lasts a bit longer.I would recommend this, especially with the lower price now, but only if you don't mind having a toy around for a couple of months. It's fun while it lasts.

If you or your kiddo are obsessed with subway toys, but don’t care about quality... this toy is for you. If you are into well-made toys, pass on this one.Luckily, the smile on my son’s face made this toy totally worth the money I spent on this poor quality toy. Four stars for having a unique toy that appeals to subway enthusiasts :)

Just like real thing. Perfect for a 4 year old.

This train set was not very well designed nor very good quality. Within minutes of playing with this set my three year old broke one of the trains. Also, the stations and raised platform bases do not have a locking mechanism so the tracks don't sit well on the base nor the stations remain attached to the tracks.Its just very cheap quality for the price, it should cost about 1/2 of what it costs and even then I wouldn't buy it knowing it is not going to last.Even though it says that its for ages 3+, I would not recommend this three or four year olds.

Such a fun cool little thing for a table. And the thing fly’s when you put fresh battery in can’t believe it doesn’t fall off when it turns?

I first gave this 5 stars and a few days later the motor car quit working and the couplers on the other two cars broke off. I tried to contact the company but the email address does not work. Any shot you can get replacement subway cars for me. My little guy loved it when it worked.Thanks, Jacks Dad
