I purchased the 24x40 to go under my kitchen sink and paid about $10. I cut it to fit around the plumbing. The bottom side is a rubberlike material and the top is felt. I am confident in it's ability to absorb a small leak should one occur. Also, the bottom is not adhesive and in my opinion better because there is no sticky residue left behind and no fuss trying to get it exactly lined up. It does not slide easily because of the rubber bottom kind-of "gripping" the bottom of the cabinet. There were some fold wrinkles out of the package but easily flattened out since I installed it yesterday and laid some heavier things on top - as you can see in the pictures. I will buy more for the bathroom at a later date and would recommend this to others.

I was anxious to get my mat, had already emptied the cabinet a day earlier.I was surprised at how thin it actually is. I was expecting thicker in order to soak up more of a water leak, if I had one.It wasn't difficult to trim although it was too short for my cabinet which is my fault. I didn't realize until receipt of the item that it is 30 inches. My cabinet is 38 wide No big deal though.Although I think this product is okay, I would not buy it again because I don't think it could handle the volume of water if you had a serious leak. It does look nice however, and doesn't slide around.

Came exactly as described. I put them on top of my washer and dryer. Since I often enter and exit the house through the laundry room I want it to look more dressed up than simply being a dumping ground for things coming in from or going out to the car. They also protect the W&D from getting surface scuffs.

This is a good mat for under the kitchen sink. It seems durable and looks nice once you get it installed. The biggest issue with it has been commented on by multiple reviewers...it is folded into a square in the package creating a tic-tac-toe pattern of creases in the mat that are almost impossible to get out. I laid my mat out in the sun, black side up to get it hot. This alone did not relax the material enough to remove the creases. Ironing it several times immediately after bringing it inside from being out in the sun helped the most and I was able to get about 90% of the creases out that way. I spent more time trying to get the creases out than I did measuring and cutting it to fit. As another reviewer mentioned also, it may not be square so take note of that when doing your measuring. The mat itself is good, the packaging is inane. This should be packaged rolled up like shelf paper.

I had a small leak under my kitchen sink. The leak was fixed, but the wood was warped. I tried sanding and painting, but it still looked bad. This mat was a good solution. Plus, it will protect from more damage from a future spill as well.

If it’s possible for the space under a bathroom sink can be pretty, then this is it. So pretty and product seems durable; just as described. I do believe it would protect the sink base in the event of a minor spill or leak. Cutting to fit was easy; just need to be sure the edge is straight that is being measured from because a couple of the ones I got were slightly wavy...not bad, though.

I just recently spilled some cleaner in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink. I cleaned it up immediately but it still left a small stain.I ran out and bought some thick plastic bins to use to store everything that I keep under the sink. As an extra precaution, I purchased this mat.It was very easy to fit. I put it in place and used a razor knife to score the felt part of the material without cutting all the way through the mat. I didn’t want to damage the cabinets. I then took it out and just used a pair of very sharp scissors to but along the scored line. I put it back in and got a perfect fit on the first attempt.Now I have double protection under the sink.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product upon receiving it after ordering. It has no smell, flattens easily after unfolding, and is easily customizable for under the sink. Had no problems cutting the item with regular scissors and it fit just fine after measuring, cutting, and placing. It is not too thick, has a felt side and a shiny non-absorbent side. It is so much better than my thin piece of gray vinyl I purchased years ago at a box store. The price is decent and the product seems well made. Looks really nice under sink. I purchased the beige which is more of a taupe color. I figured the lighter color would show more if any spills happen so I can address them. I do recommend and would purchase again.
