Arrived promptly & easy to fit
The lock itself was easy to fit although the plastic tail gate trim on the golf is tricky to remove & refit - even if only pulled gently out of the way. The lock now fitted 2 days ago is working smoothly.

Adjustments will need to be made if your car is not vw
Product works fine however the description said it was for a seat Leon but it’s a generic vag part the outer plastic case for my Leon is different to say a golf and has a different recess for the boot so I had to swap the outer case from my old genuine seat part to insure correct fit but was an easy enough thing to do

Broke after 5 month
Thought it was a good replacement and cheap. But unfortunately it broke after 5 months.

Id seen a YouTube clip which said buy of Amazon and add lots of grease. Thank you arrived next day!
