Wrong color received, but who cares. Great product.
Update:11/29/2014 .. these babies have been around the world now. Palau, Saba and St. Kitts, the Maldives and Roaton, Honduras. Our next trip is to the Galapogos islands. They pack fine for me in my aqualung gear bags interior pockets. They are a bit scratched up but work fine. No problems or broken straps in over 100 dives.Original review:I haven't actually worn them yet as it's -35 below in Chicago. I'm planning on taking them on a trip next month. They came highly recommended by a fellow scuba club diver and are very similar to my full foot fins, which I love. I will upgrade after use if they are as good as my others but for now....I ordered the pale blue/grey and received the dark blue. I was really trying to get away from the all dark blue look. I'm keeping them because it's too much of a hassle to return them just for a color preference and the dark blue also had a much higher listing price. I'm not sure what happened with the color but since you requested this review ....here it is.

great fins
I have been diving for 20 years and have dove all over the world. There are many reviews rating different fins. If you look closely, there is not a huge difference between the fastest and the middle of the road fins (full foot free dive fins are the best). Skipping free dive fins, I was looking for reasonable sized light weight fins. I have others, but I went back to my SECOND set of volo's. Yes they do wear out faster, but for travel, they are lighter and do decent in currents. My atomic fins are significantly heavier and these perform better with frog kicks and other non traditional kicks. These are excellent all around fins that are not oversized or over weight.

Pretty good
Pretty good fit for a size 12. I just wish that the toe end was open.

Just the thing for my old knees
I am 71 years old. Most fins are too stiff for my old knees, but split fins are difficult to Frog Kick with. I found these to be the perfect compromise. They are easy to kick, give a good strong stroke when needed and work well with the silt free kicks.I recommend them highly.

Glad I got them.
Great fins, much better than my 30 year old Mares. Not sure if they will last as long though. Expensive!
