My two granddaughters (5 and 3 yo) loved the book and they had me read it many times particularly at bedtime when visiting them for a few weeks.

As a life-long lover of books/stories, I was thrilled to share this tale with my Irish grandchildren during my visit this summer. Their ages are 4 to 7 and they kept asking me to re-read this adventuresome tale ... solidifying my love of reading with them!

Such a nice story to tell with your kids. Cool used of word play and the amazing illustrations are mesmerizing.I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

This story will speak to anyone who is a lifelong lover of books and reading. In this day and age, with many things (screens included) competing for the attention of our children, this story shows how important the love of reading is to the main character. And the illustrations perfectly compliment the story. Highly recommend!

This is such a well written book about the joys of a new book. The story is so beautiful and my daughter was anxious to reach the end and know what the book was about. Such beautiful illustrations, complementing the story perfectly.
