Orblue Silicone Stretch Lids, 6-Pack of Various Sizes

I bought these lids particularly so that I could reheat food in the microwave without any splattering of food onto the inside of the oven. The details in the add did state that these little silicon lids are microwave safe and can tolerate an extreme amount of heat. One can use them this way, but they are also useful for other things. You can open a can of soda and, if you want to save part of it, store the remainder in the fridge. You can mix up chicken salad, and store it in a bowl in the refriderator for later use. These lids are very stretchy and they do fit tightly over the containers.Now, back to the microwaving. I did use them for this, with success. But, as with microwaving anything with a lid, you need to remember that the steam in reheating is coing to cause the lid to possibly fly off the container, causing a mess in the oven and possibly injury to yourself. Here is the warning on the package, in case anyone misses it.Warning: These covers seal exceptionally well. Use in Microwaves or Ovens is not recommended unless the seal is broken by leaving an opening in the cover. If the container is fully sealed whilst in Microwave or Oven, the expanding heat and pressure and subsequent release of the cover, may result in damage and/or injury.So this is how I solved the problem. I warmed up a bowl of green bean casserole. I first found the proper cover and stretched it over the bowl. I then put it in the microwave oven and started the process of reheating. I stayed there and check to see if the top of the silicon lid was bulging, due to steam. I did this by touch, since I am totally blind. When I bulged, I found one of the silicon lid extrusions, the longest, and gently gave it a tug, creating a vent for the steam. If the food was not hot enough, I repeated the process. The lids do get a bit warm if you do this, so be carefu. When I removed the lid, I made sure that it was removed from the side fartherest t from me. If you keep these safety tips in mind, they work really great for this purpose also. They are very easy to clean and store, too. I highly recommend them. Great purchase.

I ordered this product and was a little skeptical, but they actually work. They arrived quickly using prime. You get 6 different sizes in the package from small enough to fit over a lemon or a can of soda to big enough to go over a large pot. I know this because after they arrived I washed them and then tried them on everything I could find in my kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well they fit over a can of soda. It creates an air tight seal. The seal is also spill proof. I tipped the can to test this. These "lids" are microwaveable and dishwasher safe, which is great since they can go straight from the fridge into the microwave. Great for when you are bringing your lunch to work. They are easy to put onto bowls, just put half of it over the bowl and stretch the rest to cover. I will definitely buy more of these, they work better than I anticipated.

Hey, these things are super-cool! Used two months now. They've gotten a bit cloudy from washing in dishwasher with hard water, but that's to be expected. We like them for putting over half-finished bowls of food ---- no transfer to Tupperware needed! Saves washing dishes. I imagine these would be extra-great for kids / picky eaters who want to finish their meal later. BEST FEATURE: they're strong enough to support other containers stacked on top of them! Great for small refrigerators. WAAAAAAY better than plastic wrap (especially for the environment).(used for labne / dip, oatmeal, pickles, leftover ingredients like chopped peppers, soup, etcetc and have kept these things fresh up to a week.)

I really like these. They do work on square containers as well; however, the biggest one barely fits a 6x6

What I like about this product is if you can actually get it to stay on whatever it's supposed to be on it works well. Getting it on on the other hand and keeping it on is another story. This thing slips and slides all over the place almost all the time. It makes you so frustrated that you may want to smash your face against the wall in order to end the misery that it is putting you through. This is complete garbage and it has been garbage since the very first day that I bought it. I should have returned it when I had the chance but I kept thinking: it'll get better, *I'll find a use for it.* I would never buy this again, I would never recommend it to anyone and the only reason why it's getting two stars is because if you do happen to get it to stay on whatever you're trying to get it on it works well.

Love these silicone lids - they come in 6 different sizes so they fit all sorts of different bowls and containers (and also fruits and vegetables - I put the smallest one on half an onion!). They're easy to put on and take off but stay on the bowl; they have a 1.25" lip that keeps them securely on. They're airtight so they keep your food fresh just like plastic wrap, but they're reusable so much less wasteful and frankly easier to use than plastic wrap often is. They're also dishwasher safe (though I can't take advantage of this since I don't have a dishwasher, sadly) and are microwave safe and claim to be heat-resistant to 450 deg F. I honestly have no complaints about them!

These have been quite handy. I have been able to use them with dishes in a variety of material and size. The smallest one is great for covering cans when the entire contents isn't used all at once. In my case, I use economically sized cans of quality pet food and store the can in the fridge between feedings. I've also used the larger sizes with mixing bowls so I can refrigerate their contents without creating another dirty dish to wash. They aren't just snap on or like those disposable covers with elastic edges so you will have to read the directions and use them correctly for best results. But once you get the hang of it, it's easy to put on and they are always easy to remove.

buon materiale, resistente, non ha odori sintetici da "cinesata" ed è igienicamente "sano", un vero silicone per uso alimentare. Grazie ai diversi formati e all'estensibilità ci puoi chiudere tutto, dalla mezza mela al piatto fondo alla pentola grande. Li lavi facilmente a mano o in lavastoviglie. Vorrei ne facessero anche in formato rettangolare o quadrato, sarebbe utile per le vaschette.

Got this as a last minute gift before mother's day, really durable compared to some of the other ones on this site, pretty thick. Doesn't have that chemically smell that most silicone products have which is pretty good. Comes with 6 of them and they are all really stretchy which makes a good fit. One thing that sucks is that it cost 24.85 so I had to buy something else to go over 25 dollars for that free Amazon Prime one day shipping, you could tell they did that on purpose lol. Anyways it's a really good product and is worth the price anyways. Mom was pleased with it and that's all that matters.
