FM FM42Temperature Sensing Color Changing Pendant Necklace with 19.29" Stainless Steel Rolo Chain

My daughter wanted to get her best friend a necklace before she and her family move away. We picked out the two piece "best friends" heart necklace. I was pleasantly surprised that it not only came nicely wrapped in plastic but in a nice little gift box, as well. It seems to be decent quality. It's got some weight to it and doesn't seem like it will come off the chain or break real easily. It also included a mood explanation card at the bottom of the box. My only complaint is that one of the halves seems to change when you are not touching it and the other half doesn't seem to want to change when you are holding it. We've only played around with one half, since the other half is a gift, but the one we took out doesn't want to change any color other than blue to black (when we put it in the freezer!). The half that we haven't taken out of the plastic has just randomly turned blue to green to yellow to red. It's cool but.... odd. I thought it was suppose to be body temperature sensitive. In any case, they are very cute and I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this necklace for my 6 year old granddaughter who loves Dolphins! Bonus that it is mood changing and it has a little card in the gift box identifying the mood colors! One thing I added, to make it easier for her to put on by herself, was a magnetic clasp (purchased 4 pack on Amazon). This makes the necklace easy for her to take on and off! The necklace being under $10 was a perfect purchase!

My only complaint is that it’s not adjustable

My kid gave one to her bff and wore hers for a few months. She took good care of it and took it off for showers and sleep and kept it nicely in her jewelry box and the necklace chain just broke. Luckily she still has the pendant but warning that the chain is not very sturdy and may lose the pendant.

I was honestly not expecting something fantastic considering the price point of these necklaces, but they are actually really sweet and pretty. I did not care for the included card, as it was a gift for a child and we would have liked some of the "feelings" to have been different, so we removed it prior to gifting.
