Excellent pliers
Klein makes good hand tools, this one is excellent. should last my lifetime and pass it along to the next generation. so while more expensive, I enjoy it more, its tough, well designed, works. The 7 inch feels good in the hand. certainly big enough jaws for wires and cables around the house. no reason for larger unless you are working with BIG wires and BIG cables.

I've owned a larger pair of Klein lineman pliers for some time but they're too large to carry in my tool pouch. So the 7" version is perfect. They have a solid feel and they don't fling open because they are too loose, which is how I prefer it.

USA forged steel, finished in Mexico
I bought Kline believing is made in USA. Front of the packaging says USA forged steel. Picture in the ad says made in USA. The back says finished in Mexico. It’s made in Mexico sold as made in USA price. Very deceptive. Lost my faith in Klein. I will admit it looks good. There is a tiny bit of wobble, but not enough to be an issue.
