A handy handie
This radio is well built and offers full operating conditions for the price. However I have marked it down because of the instruction book and the menu which takes a while to understand. Too many alternative commands on buttons. One must persevere to find a way around. The charger stays green after full charge is reached and the radio removed. A discharged battery turns the LED red and fully charged green. The green remains on afterwards.

Exceptional piece of kit. My only concern is a slightly temperamental down button.

This model cannot access Dublin Airport Transmissions. ircraft transmissions
Tried to get aircraft / traffic control chat with zero result. Only sound being emitted is a bleeping. So disappointed in lack of performance from a professional looking piece of equipment. Brochure does not explain operation in clear terms.From what I can discover that the Band range is very limited and probably not suited to an Irish location,
