SWIFTSW380T 40X-2500X Research-Grade Trinocular Compound Lab Microscope with 1.3mp Camera and Software Windows and Mac Compatible and Slide

I have a science and education background; I bought this for my teen girls who wanted to know what I used to do in my career as a molecular biologist. Microscopes were central to what I did at work and those were thousands of dollars in cost so obviously getting one of those was not an option. In my search for a suitable scope, there were a lot of duds out in the market, but then I came upon the Swift microscope.This Swift model is comparable, if not more, than what a typical high school / middle school science lab might have. With it, I have been able to teach my daughters basic microscopy: preparing stains and slides, using different lens objectives, looking at stained slides, live samples, and using the oil immersion lens. The camera attachment easily sets up with a laptop and shows clear pictures of what is in the scope's field of vision.This is a not a "professional's" microscope. It is however, a very suitable one for teaching and getting young minds interested in authentic scientific experiences that may just spark that passion to follow into that field. Even for me, when I handle the scope, it does not ever feel like a toy. My daughters had a legitimate glimpse into how I learned and used biology.

Can see slides in entirety, something that other scopes can’t. Literally returned 2 microscopes (one costing more and the other roughly the same price) before buying this one and loving it. Brightness is fabulous, functions exactly as it should, looks like the pictures, and absolutely worth the value

This was a great little microscope. Heavy duty sturdy... Not a toy microscope but great for young scientists!

I'm sure that the microscope will eventually meet my needs for photomicroscopy, either with the included camera or with my Canon 90D mounted on top. However...Unfortunately, the microscope did not come with a US power cord. Not sure what this is supposed to fit, but it sure isn't my wall outlet.Having to trek to Office Max to buy an appropriate cord kind of makes the ease of ordering on-line somehow, less helpful. (Mind you, the closest Office Max is 20 miles away, each way.)

I have only one problem, it's they sent this bottle of liquid that was not labeled me thinking it was immerging oil, WARNING ⚠️ it's not immerging oil and I actually have no idea what it is yet but I'll be ordering a new microscope 100X objective lens. But other than that it's a great microscope

Homeschooling family. We love this microscope, ease of use, quality of focus. It comes with sample slides and blank slides so the kids have something to look at right away. It takes a little practice to get the knack of focusing, but after a few minutes it's quite easy. This scope provides a nice clear picture. I took some pics with my iPhone for your reference. Very fun to look at stuff on a microscopic level. Now the kids are learning to make onion sample slides!

I’m a beginner with this thing and I know it’s capable of so much more but there should be some kind of instructions or something for beginners.. I’m hoping I can figure this out but there are not a lot of resources for this item!
