I work with solar and primarily repair damaged systems. We come across a lot of squirrel damage. They often chew the insulation off the module whips and we need to cut off the connectors to replace. I normally prefer to cut off both connectors (even if the other is good) and replace with MC4. There are some times where replacing a single MC3 just makes since.These appear to be good quality. The "teeth" in the boot hold better than some other versions I have used. The contacts appear to be good quality as well. I am no MC3 expert, but these are certainly acceptable.If you purchase these I would assume you have a MC3 crimper, but you should know that you will need a tool to get the boot on the wire. You can not normally slide them on. The assembly tool is expensive, but I read online where somebody used a cutoff caulk tube nozzle to stretch the boot over the wire. I have used this method with success.

It is possible to install these ends without the special tool, but no instructions were provided. See YouTube for tips on stretching the connector for full insertion of the crimped terminal.

Allow 2-2 1/2 months for order.
I needed these parts to continue work with a solar installation. It took at least 2 months to receive them. The parts seem up to specifications. The parts arrived in a box that had been folded like an accordian. It had also gotten wet and the ink on the labels had run so that I had to work to get the P.O. to deliver the package. I am glad I received it and can continue my work. In the future I will ask for an expedited order.

The MC3 connectors I believe are of good quality. I have not yet put them on solar wire soon. I plan to rim & solder them. I bought 10 or 20 of them, but will be purchasing at least 20 more from the dame source.
