Best Drone for people new to FPV flying
I'm new to FPV flying. I've had several gps drones and wanted to explore the freedom of FPV. Previous to this drone I had 2 racing fpv drones and lost them both. The first fpv drone I lost the first day I bought it!😠After buying this Arris Long range drone, I noticed that it was much more stable than racing fpv drones, but when you do loops and barrel rolls, they are much slower and must be done at higher altitudes. The reasons why I believe this is a great beginner fpv drone is because it is more stable than a racing drone. Also because the gps will give you arrows on the screen to help you know which direction you need to fly to reach the home point. That is a huge help if you are unfamiliar with the area. The return to home works most of the time, but you must make sure that you get gps lock before take off or it won't even go into RTH mode. It just stays in normal flight mode.Unfortunately, the RTH mode sometimes will toilet roll and, thus, won't land properly. It works properly most of the time though. The best thing you could possibly buy to prevent you from losing your investment is a Tracki gps tracking device which costs $20 per month for service. This tracking device prevented me from losing this drone 3 times already. One time after flying 2,700 feet in altitude in the clouds, I couldn't fly the drone back because of high wind and it went into fail safe mode, but ended up 5 miles away. It landed with no damages fortunately. I found it only because I had the Tracki gps device. In regards to max flight distance. It'll fly about a mile away. Attitude is very impressive.... I've taken it almost 2,800 feet high!Over all, it's a great drone but don't expect the RTH to work perfectly everytime. It's still better than having a FPV drone with no RTH. But remember, a gps tracking device is more than worth the money to prevent losing your investment.

Still haven't flown it yet
This has been my experience so farEverything came on time for what i expected except for the battery. Amazon was great at fixing the problem. They offered me a replacement or a $50 certificate in place of the battery. I already opened the package and toyed with it so i got the certificate. Only worked with Amazon made items. So i couldn't get a battery with it. I got the battery for the qx7 put it in to test it. Was hard to get out and the flimsy connector broke. So here i am waiting for a new battery for the quad and now gonna need a new qx7 controller cuz the battery connector just ripped out. Gonna update when i get parts and get it up in the air

This is not a toy drone this is all business you want one just make sure your ready no jokes
like someone said this is a tough starter drone if is your first drone get another cheap one and practice with that and download a drone simulator Arris 280 is very fast very responsive and if you don't know what doing you will lose or smash up but it is bad ass out of the box just er with caution but other than that so far I've nothing but good times to say y'all have fun

Not a big fan of iNAV (Sorry Paweł)
Bought this because when I first started, I wanted to try out the iNAV firmware. Discovered I prefer to fly FPV using BetaFlight firmware. This aircraft is for "long" range cruising. You might get 10-15 minutes out of the battery if you are careful so you are not going far. The iNAV Firmware is built for cruising and navigating. Not my cup of tea. I replaced the 7" 2-blade props with 3-blade 5" props because there was not enough clearance for my taste with the 7" props. Broke the GPS Stalk during a hard landing. No big deal, they are cheap and can be 3D printed in a pinch. Don't really need it for my type of flying. Will probably flash it with Betaflight.
