In April 2017 the channel selection was good for only two channels
BEWARE - PRODUCT DESIGN & CUSTOMER SERVICE. The amp works as described, but DO NOT torque down the F-Connector at the amp as the female F-Connector will twist, pulling the core lead from the printed circuit board, and become inoperative. An inexpensive locking nut would correct this obvious design flaw. AND - AS FOR THEIR WARRANTY, I had purchased 1byOne's 85-mile Omni-Directional (enclosed & sealed) antenna in Oct. 2017 THROUGH AMAZON. In April 2017 the channel selection was good for only two channels. After eliminating the coax, the connections, my splitter, etc. I ordered a new amp. It turned out to be the antenna (who'd a thunk that?). Pursuant to 1byOne's warranty information, I contacted 1byOne by email with a long detailed explanation of how/what/why I was seeking warranty fulfillment (1-year warranty). That was April 12, 2018. To date 1byOne has not responded. Unless 1byOne becomes responsive to my inquiries, I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY MORE 1byOne products. In fairness though, I have not yet pursued this through Amazon which I will do shortly having provide ample time for 1byOne to respond. No response from 1byOne = no more purchases of their products. Had 1byOne responded, they would have received 5-stars even though their products failed - just saying.

Complete and utter trash in quality and build. Does not work, refund requested.
Utter and complete useless garbage. My current setup which is a HDHomeRun and a 75 mile antenna gets around 41 channels out of the 75 in my area. Adding this lovely box that number was reduced to 3 channels. This is a complete and total worthless piece of junk whos build quality looks like it was done by hand, childrens hands no less, and feels like it will break if you look at it wrong. It has no on/off switch like it shows in the pictures, all cables on this move at the mount points, and the antenna side socket looks like it was constructed incorrectly and off center. Absolutely nothing about this was good or correct. Avoid at all costs, refund requested.

Great alternative but slow channel guide loading
As a receiver it works very well and easily captures the signals in our area. We got the one with 25 mile range and our towers are all within 18 miles. We got this as an addition to Hulu and Netflix after we cancelled our satellite television service in order to watch local shows and sporting events. It is very easy to set up, although you might need to try a few different places to place the antenna for the best service. We found in front of the window (behind the curtain) was best.I was happy and surprised that it also provides a channel guide showing what is currently on each channel which I did not know it would do.The one thing that I do not like is that when browsing the channels, it takes a long time for each page to load. At first I was hoping it was just because it was new and receiving for the first time, but it continues to take several seconds (which sounds short but feels long) for each page to load. I recommend having a cheat sheet with the channel numbers for your TV (as they are different than the "standard" channel numbers) and using a TV guide website for what is on, otherwise you will be scrolling forever.

Did everything I needed and more
This thing did everything that I needed it to do. I had bunny ear antenna before, and I was able to get a single channel or two, and then by rotating the antenna, could get a couple more. I figured I would try this out. After comparing it to a whole bunch of different ones, I picked this one because it came with a booster (only necessary if you live further away from towers).I plugged this thing in, with a 40' extension and coupler, did a channel scan and got about 60-70 channels instantly (most of course are ones I don't need). The picture is crystal clear on nearly every channel, I have no complaints. The suction works very well. I cleaned my window, applied the suction and turned on the lock, and it hasn't budged since day one.I also researched where my channels are sent from, and angling the antenna at that has increased both the amount and quality of the channels. The length of the cord was no issue, just had to put a coupler and longer cord to the TV.

Very Happy
I buy things by what others have to say about an item. This had good reviews and that's the main reason I purchased it. I was a bit confused on this package as I originally thought it was an electrically amplified antenna and it wasn't?? Easy hook up, and before I could even do a search, it was already picking up a better signal on the three channels I could get barely. After I did a search, it found 32 channels wow. It is hooked up across the room from the window 2/3 rd's the way up the wall. I mainly watch TV on my keedox box also purchased from Amazon, which is an awesome cable cutter too, especially if you've knowledge of XBMC/KODI. I wanted the antenna for my local stations. We live as my hubby put it, in a lower/ravine type area surrounded by trees and about 32 miles or so from the nearest tower. In the DFW area, this (25 mile range) antenna picked up most channels except for CH. 4 & 8. I can live w/ that. I didn't even really mess w/ moving it around. So yes very happy w/ this antenna. 😊😊;-)

I guess I've just been dumb paying those cable bills
WOW. I guess I've just been dumb paying those cable bills. I bought this cheap little antenna and I am set. I taped it on the wall in my bathroom that has a high ceiling and I can get all but one channel that I want with GREAT quality, much better than the cable quality. I did have to try it in several places before deciding where to put it. I decided to get an even cheaper little antenna to put in another spot to get that one channel I can't get with the placement of the first one. I bought a slider switch and simply slide it to one antennae or the other depending on what I want to see. For me I am using the Tivo box. I've already made up the price of the equipment in just a couple of months since I was able to cut all my cable bills. I just use the cable for internet now. I was very nervous about cutting the cable, but once I got this antenna and proved it would work I did it. I wish I'd done it years ago. I still can't believe what I am looking at now is coming through this inexpensive easy antenna, incredible.
