Worked well for me
I used this to support the different levels of my bee hive to stay aligned on one corner. I only screwed it in on the lowest level and it worked well, so I am pleased.

L brackets used as stairway clips
I have used brackets identical in dimension and build-up from Simpson Strong tie for stairway tread support, and have been very pleased with the lack of corrosion over a 9 year period. I will expect these bracket to last at least thirty years to support stairway treads with some weathering.
