For Better For Worse

I love all Pam Weaver books and so pleased when this new book came out .But its not a new book at all ! just a a different cover as book is For better or worse !Cant believe Pam Weaver treats her readers like this as in my eyes its a complete con and just misleading and doing people out of money .I wish I had read reviews first than I would have known but didnt bother as know that I love Pam Weaver books .I now though feel very cheated .

just a new title, read the book before, how can this be allowed, so I ve been charged twice, will be on my guard in future,how can they publish it under another title, not impressed at all.

I knew i had read this book before!!! I have just googled Pam Weaver only to find out that the book HAS been out before and they decided to change the name from " Better or Worse" to Mother's Day. I feel i have been taken for a ride. I know it's only £1.99 but i would not have bought it had i known this.How many more people have done the same thing.Now impressed at all.

Having been a local person in,and around the Worthing area for many years,it was lovely to see how Pam intertwined the local geography into her well thought out story,which has more twists and turns than a game of Snakes and Ladders!It was hard to put the book down,especially as one reached the middle section,and was reading towards the end.For me, this has been Pam's best novel, and I wait with bated breath to see if she can do even better,as this book is a hard act to follow.

I loved this book the first time I read it!!! The author just changed the title and 're-issued it. This shouldn't be allowed readers pay good money for a book only to be ripped off.

I like everything about this book. The story is nicely woven, with some suspense, drama and real life situations that one can relate to. I like the setting of the 40s, it reminds me of life in developing countries when I hail from. Filled with lack and life threatening issues but people manage and live on the little available. I also like the fact that her style of story telling is clean. If you like little dollops of good old fashioned romance you will like this book.

A lovely read from Pam with romance and some intrigue a book definitely to read 5 STARS for Pam weaver .

A brilliant story ...storyline unusual but gripping. Really likeable characters, bar one. Women now may find it incredible, but it is set in times where things were very different.

From the first page I was invested. Couldn't bear to put it down. It weaves through the lives of three women who find they are married to the same man. Hearing each of their stories come to life is spellbinding. You find yourself hating this horrible man who has deceived these poor women. The timeframe is in the forties. Reading the ideas people in those days had about smoking (it calms your nerves) and about early television (do you think it will catch on?) Allows for some humor in distressing situations I dorecommend this book and I give accolades to the author. Thank you.

Currently reading this book, almost finished, but have enjoyed the story so much. Something to think about for sure. I have read other books by this author and loved the writing style.

what a great author !! This was difficult to put down . I also wanted to read the books that followed as soon as I could . The " husband" is an unbelievable conman who seems to be able to fool everyone , as well as have back up plans should things get away from him. The amazing bond & unselfish attitude allow the ones he has betrayed so cruelly to survive the ordeal he is putting them through

I kept reading this book in record time, I could hardly put it down. All the characters are described in each of their personalities, and it was a true enjoyable read. Twists and turns, and a story that kept developing as it went along. I will be reading more from the author.

This story takes place in England in the 1940s. I enjoyed the storyline. Not sure of some of the English slang or the value of money mentioned but all in all I would recommend this book.I just ordered a few more of Pam Weaver s books.

I absolutely love stories from pre or post WW2 and this one has everything that will keep the reader so engaged and unable to,put the book down . A must read

This book was very different and most intriguing. A look at the "other side" of things and my sympathies lay with the three "wronged" wives. I look forward to more books from Pam Weaver, hopefully in the near future.

This was a very well written book with a great storyline and it kept my interest from start to finish.

I really enjoyed this story , the mystery surrounding the so called husband and his three wives made a good read , it had you wondering just where the story was going to end .

This is a great read. I'm looking forward to reading some more of Pam weaver if they are as good as this one . Thank you Pam I though I was going to be stuck for another good read.

Good book just right ending

This is another good story by Pam Weaver. I have read all her books and they have all been great.the story line is very good with likable characters. I look forward to her next book.
