Works well for emergency/remote area communications.
I used the battery for powering a transceiver for communicating when generator power was unavailable. It worked well. The battery has high current output capability in a compact package. An important feature for me is that it has built in charge control and current control which enhances safety.The included charger was a bonus, but the low output of the charger means that it takes time to charge the battery

Impressive power delivery and duration
I've been using a pair of these, seldom needing the second one, with a Yaesu FT-897D. On receive the transceiver usually draws 1 amp continuously and can draw up to 20 amps on transmit. Great duration out of the pack. Usually starting voltage, after a full charge is 13.2v, takes a lot of work to get it down to below 12. Light and compact power, a pair fit nicely in a Really Useful Box I picked up at the local hardware store.

Fantastic powersource.
I love this battery. I'm using if for audio purposes. I use it to power my modified cd boombox. I am also using it in my quest to create audiophile quality cd-r's. Loving the results compared to using a SLA battery. I'm going to do more comparisons monitering the voltages with an oscilloscope.

Battery is powerful
Battery is powerful; however, I learned the hard way that it will not work in some applications due to a safety shut off on current draw over a particular requirement.
