Good quality. Needs to come with the secure mounts.
It definitely 100% needs to come with the brackets that screw into the actual kayak. To where the poles will be securely fastened to your kayak. We tested them out over the weekend. 100% great quality shade and kept the heat away. Except for even having them tied down where we could tie them down without having the mounting brackets. A gust of wind came and ripped them out of the holes we had him in and the straps got ripped off the kayak. Another pointer is when it is windy out and you have a head wind. It will slow you down. Not super bad unless the wind is very high.This item should come with the screw in mounting brackets. So that the shade structure will be securely fastened.

This canopy shade sux azz
The pole is way to long to fit in the little bitty shade. No hardware was sent. So, even if everything else was right, i couldn't have used it. If i could have rated this at a negative number, it would've been more accurate

Very nice shade.
Product does a great job. A little difficult to put together by your self. If you are paddling out, you will have to stop somewhere to put it together. I couldn't put it together while seating on my kayak. Not good on windy days if paddling against the wind. If you fish from your kayak, this will make it difficult to cast due to the front hold down string.For pleasure paddling it is great, the shade drops the temperature nicely.

Needs more support
The shade installs in minutes, but when pulled the slightest bit to tighten, the poles at the bend collapse together. I tried several routines nags of the elastic cordage, but it all resulted in more collapsing. I finally made my own custom spreader bar to hold the rods apart which worked out and makes this thing useable.

I was very pleased how much shade it provided. Its easy to install and worked great for adding a little extra shade for me and my dogs. I would highly recommend it.

Holders are not included nor installation instructions
I liked the product. I had to wait and buy holder from Walmart. I had to take kayak to dealer to install. One wrong hole and you and kayak sink in the Gulf.
