PROG DYNAMIC Progressive Dynamics PD50K3Q2GP Panel Converter

This Progressive Dynamics PD50K3Q2GP Panel worked good. I replaced an older panel that had a AC to DC converter in it. I didn't need the old converter anymore because I installed a all-in-one inverter and hooked this up to the ac from the inverter and the DC from the battery. Solar panels and shore-power hook to the inverter. Fit well into the space I needed. I would recommend this product. I give it four stars because its a little pricy for a plastic box.

When I had a faulty breaker connection in my WFCO 30 Amp distribution panel, it overheated and deformed. I searched and searched for a replacement that was the same size only to find it was discontinued. All the newer models include the converter box inside and would have required me to modify the cabinetry. This progressive dynamics panel is almost exactly the same size (1/2” narrower) and has the same features, connections and capacities. Does not include 120v to 12v power supply, this is panel only. If you need to replace or upgrade existing you're OK. But if your rehabbing an old camper you'll be disappointed.

This is a great AC/DC distribution panel that will handle up to 30 amps on the AC side, and 120 amps on the DC side, which is plenty for the small or average RV, van, or boat. It should be noted that I was surprised to receive a black one this time, as previously I purchased this item and it was brown. Apparently Progressive Dynamics has updated all of the variants of this distribution panel and only makes them in black plastic now, as given away by the "K" in the "PD50K3Q2GP" model number. Previous model numbers instead had a "B" for brown in place of the K. These brown units have been phased out by the manufacturer, but sellers across the internet are still using the old photos of the brown units, which is the case with this Amazon listing. Not a big deal but something to note. Great product overall.

Great power distribution panel. Could be heavier material but overall good.

Not sure if I got a used one or that's how they come but this was just in a plastic bag with no instructions at all. No mounting screws either.

This is just a blank fuse panel, no power converter is included

Make sure this is what you want because you can’t return it. I accidentally ordered this meaning to order one with a converter in it. It does not convert AC to DC.
