The piece is indeed sturdy, but it has not designed well. There's no hole in the bottom of the Orbi for the screws underneath the holder. The bottom of the Orbi is just a plastic grill, so you can use a self-tapping screw into it and it kind of works, but (1) the screws that come with the holder can't do the job, so you need to use your own, and more importantly (2) you may be damaging the plastic grill of the Orbi. I decided to go ahead, but I'm not super happy.

Works fine. Could be sturdier but acceptable.

I like how the mount comes with removable screws to hold the router and satellites that don't need tools.

These are heavy duty. I ended up putting a 3/4” spacer between the stand and wall to provide easier wiring access to the routers.Just used longer screws for the additional space.

Great mount that fit my RBK850 perfectly. The mount is very sturdy and easy to install. Not sure how the metal effects my signal but I haven’t notice any problems.

These are great stands, look really good and make mounting your Orbi's to the wall look professional. The only drawback is the wall anchors are are not very good. You can't really tighten the screws into the wall tight, the anchors will strip out of the hole and spin around. Since the Orbi is so light, is up high and won't be disturbed I am not worried about it, just be careful when installing. The thumb screws that hold the Orbi to the stand are good and tight. Being able to raise them up high on the wall has improved the reception in our multi-level house. Glad I purchased them.

Just as I thought, the hole for the cables is improperly placed if you use Ethernet cables (I looked at other similar products and they all suffer the same design issue). If this was designed for use with Ethernet cables the Orbi mount would stand out farther from the wall and the hole would be closer to the wall mount. With the way it is designed, the Ethernet cables have to be bent substantially to go through the hole (cheaper Ethernet cables might be more bendable, but higher quality shielded cables are harder to bend especially so close to the Ethernet plug).

This bracket is heavy duty and holds the Orbit in position all the time. Is a very sturdy piece and does not flex. I will definitely buy it again in the future, since I have plans to put additional satellites in my home.
