I have the HM211, and I'm glad they kept the same design and technology for the most part. These seem to have a faster response which is improved, but the last model is still fantastic. Picture quality is great (I have a screened window shooting through it). As you can see, I have the heimvision home security system as well in one of my photos, so I'm quite loyal to a great product.

Give this camera a try!!Update 11/07/2020:The camera failed after just over a month of use. The company agreed to replace, but you have to pay to ship it back to them.Update 11/18/2020Sent the defective camera back in for replacement. Now no communication back from manufacturer. I bought junk, I paid to send back junk back and got nothing in return. I wish I would have never heard of heimvision!!!

I literally bought and returned 4 cameras, each from a different company, this is the 5th one I got and it's the best one. One of the other cameras I got was from a company that looked like it was a well known, popular brand so I ordered it. Someone kept trying to breach it from the moment I hooked it up! So far with Heims, 3 months in, everything is great! BUT I did have to get it exchanged when I first got it because it wasn't working properly but the replacement is 100% better. I've finally found a camera that gets the job done. They were totally fast with responses and got my replacement out right away and were so cooperative. I'm legit happy with it. The night vision is actually what it says it is, so it the quality. Those other camera companies are paying customers to post positive reviews. I am not paid. These guys are worth it. My only only only complaint is that I wish there was a fast forward option when reviewing the videos in the app but I'm sure there's a way around that and I just haven't found it. If you do get this camera and there's a problem, email them first. Im telling ya, they might not be super fancy looking but its the best camera and ive tried many! I'm about to get 2 more from Heimvision!

Ive tried everything to make it work it won't work i am receiving a replacement hopefully I could update my review to a 5 star I really wanted this camera! went through lots of reviews and was very excited but now iam disappointed.UPDATE I received the replacement plugged it in and right away started talking the other must have been a defect. It works great night vision is good and I love the flood light,not to sensitive love it glad I got a replacement instead of a different brand,I bought a different camera from same brand and had zero problems with that one that's why I gave it another try,also for reference if you want to pay for cloud services I got 7 days of non stop recording for 6.99 the down side is you need to pay for each camera you add wish they had a plan

The camera is excellent only down side is can’t read a license plate. Easy hook up wired or wireless better response time wired on Ethernet then wireless 5g would be better. Major disappointment is the software is excellent cloud service but the lag time between notice and being able to see the video is fro 5 to 15 minutes if the did the play from SD card like the cloud and play locally instead of going though the web I would keep it.Tried other software and onvif testers would not work the priority firmware is locked down so tight maybe that’s why there so cheap make the money off cloud service if the price was half what it is like Alfred camera it would be worth it.UPDATE: 11/2/2020I have been working with customer service and have worked out the bugs the easiest way to contact them is though the app feedback I’m on the eastern coast and there response is at night my time they are working on 24/7 responses. Working on a new camera the night vision is great and setting up the detection zones is very helpful on a busy street even the alerts are working better there is still the internet problem but even google drive has that one there is snapshots that are available if you need a picture faster that helps. The siren helps keep the birds off LOL. For the price you can’t go wrong even the cloud service maybe a 3 day version soon. Over all very impressed just remember it’s not a $5,000.00 camera give them some time to respond and work with the camera you’ll like it. And no I did not get a free gift to change any opinion.

低価格の割に高性能なので助かりました。(1)VLCでライブ映像視聴ライブ映像が観れて、直接ライブ映像をVLCから録画することもできます。ローカル環境のカメラのIPアドレスを特定しておく。　↓VLCのストリーム再生で下記のように設定。音声なし「rtsp://192.168.xxx.xxx:554/」音声あり「rtsp://192.168.xxx.xxx:8001/0/av0」(2)NASに録画ONVIFに対応ということなのでSynologyのSurveillanceStationで録画データをNASに保存すべくトライ。SynologyのONVIFが使えなかったため、マニュアルで設定したところ、NASに録画データが保存できるようになりました。・SynologyのNASにアプリをインストールNASに"SurveillanceStation"をインストールする。　↓ローカル環境のカメラのIPアドレスを特定しておく。　↓カメラの編集で[ユーザー定義]を選択し下記のように設定。「rtsp://192.168.xxx.xxx:8001/0/av0」・SynologyのNAS設定後にすべきこと！　①スマホに"DS cam"をインストールする。録画データを視聴するのに最適です。　(HeimLinkと比較し、段違いに使いやすい。)　②Mac用、Win用の"Synology Surveillance Station Client"をインストールする。　("SurveillanceStationClient"でググるとインストーラーは見つかる。)(3)microSDに録画動作検知録画はメモリの初期化から2週間経過する前にスマホのアプリ(HeimLink)から視聴できなくなるっぽいです。(スライダーが表示されなくなる現象が発生。異なる2台のスマホでも確認した。)問題が発生する度、メモリを初期化し復旧させました。恐らくはアプリのバグだと思いますが、もし仕様だとすると糞仕様だと思う。ちなみに常時録画では上記のような問題はまだ発生していません。(4)クラウドNASで常時録画が可能になったので、有料クラウドは使っていません。(初めから有料クラウドと知っていたら、このカメラは買わなかった)カメラは安く売って、有料クラウドに導くビジネスモデルかと思います。「1ヶ月契約-動作検知録画-7日分のストレージ($4.99)」～「1年契約-常時録画-30日分のストレージ ($199)」(5)その他・可能なら中華サーバーへのリクエストが飛ばないようにブロックしたい。・カメラがサイバー攻撃の踏み台にされる可能性を排除したい。・カメラの設置、設定、NASの設定やら全てDIYできる人は楽しいと思います。

真面目にこの様な商品を売っては駄目。綺麗に取り付けが終わって使い始めたら使用期限が付いていて課金しないと使えない。詐欺紛いの商品だ。

商品案内の説明にはONVIFサポートに関する記載はありませんが、商品化粧箱の写真に「ONVIF Protocol Supported」との記載がありましたので、購入しました。SynologyのNASにSurveillance Stationというパッケージをインストールし、ONVIFカメラとして登録することでNASのHDDに任意の容量を割り当てて、常時録画することが可能でした。当初ONVIFカメラとして検索をかけてもカメラが検出されずに焦りましたが、カメラに割り当てられたIPアドレスをルーターの管理画面で特定し、手動でカメラ登録することで録画が可能となりました。NASに録画してしまえば、Synology Surveillancd Station ClientというWindowsアプリをインストールすることで、現在の映像を確認しながら、過去の録画動画を確認するといった添付画像のような操作も可能となります。タイムセールで安く購入でき、当初やりたかった事がすべて実現できたので、満足しています。取付は2×4材を適当にビス止め、ドリルで穴開けをして、ベランダの柵にタイラップで固定しそこにビス止めしました。防水性能については利用し始めたばかりなので、無評価です。

本体は鋳物っぽい質感で、比較的がっしりしていて重めですビスで壁面・天井面ととめるタイプで、ビスとカールプラグは付属してきますMicroSDカードスロットが本体下面に付いていて、それに録画したデータを記憶する形ですカードスロットのフタはネジ止めで、多少手間はかかりますがカメラを設置したまま取り外しもできますカメラからはケーブルが3本伸びていて、それぞれカメラ本体のリセットボタン・有線LAN端子・電源端子が付いています電源はそこからさらにケーブルを繋いで、コンセントプラグに変換する形ですリセットボタンはカバー付き、有線LAN端子は防水キャップが付属しています電源の方は特に何もないので、雨の当たる屋外で使う場合は接続部分を保護する必要があるかも知れませんカメラの画像をPC・スマートフォンからリアルタイムで見ることができ、複数の繋ぎ方があります。①ルータとカメラのLAN接続端子を有線で繋ぎ、　ルータに繋いたPCから見る②スマートフォンをwifiに繋ぎ、スマホアプリで表示した　QRコードをカメラに向けて認識させる③カメラ自体をwifiアクセスポイントとして振る舞わせ、　スマホをそのwifiに繋ぐ(これは試してません)スマホで撮れ方を見ながら位置調整できるのが便利です初期設定は環境により多少苦戦するかも知れません説明書は複数の言語で書かれており、日本語もあります説明の詳細さとしては、そこそこです録画データをリアルタイムでスマホ・PCに保存する事はできませんが、有料のクラウド契約をするとアプリを介して可能らしいです価格が安い割に、良くできていると思います。個人的には短いLANケーブルも付いてくるのが嬉しかった。親切

このカメラはクラウド契約しないと通知を見ることができず、尚且つソフトが悪いのか接続が海外サーバーを経由しているのか不明ですが極端に不安定です。（テストアップロードで外部へ100MB以上出ているネットワークに直接有線LANに接続しているのでネットワークが悪いことは考えられません)無料のクラウド契約した上で「SDカードに映像を保存」としても、どうもクラウドにも保存されている可能性があるのか、Liveモードで不安定な状態なのに、録画は遅延なく表示されるという意味不明な動作です。何もかも怪しく正直お勧めできません。玄関のみの利用なので、プライベートもあまり関係ないかなと思い、ダミーカメラと考えた方が幸せだなと思っています。
