Minimal to no wear on the headsets. See pictures. Excellent

Also good for avoiding the fight who needs to get up ...
Elegant the way it uses the battery of the phone in the base set to power the system during a black out.It reads out what caller ID says. I don't need to go to the phone for telemarketers or political pollsters. Also good for avoiding the fight who needs to get up to answer the phone. If it isn't one of my friends, it isn't my problem.

Horrible sound quality
This phone had *almost* the features I needed: Lets me answer my cell phone anywhere in the house while the cell phone itself sits in its charging station. Downloads my cell phone's contact list. Gives me four handsets for my land line. Voice announcement of the incoming call is nice. BUT... The sound quality is horrible -- cheap speakers I guess. The whole thing feels cheap. There is a pathetic choice of ring tones, and no way to assign a different ring tone to each cell phone and the land line, so when it rings, you have to look at the handset to know whether it is the land line, cell phone 1, or cell phone 2. There is also no way to assign distinctive ring tones to individuals your address book. I didn't use the answering machine (because I prefer voice mail), nor did I use the speaker phone. The terrible voice quality was the fatal blow for me. I'm sending it back.
