The Illustrated History of the Kings & Queens of Britain Paperback – July 16, 2012

I had been trying to get a clear overview of the history of British royalty, as quite a few of them surprisingly turned up in my genealogical tree. This book is concise and interesting. The pictures and explanations clarified a lot of questions for me and eliminated the confusion that my research had created. It was exactly what I was looking for....simple and clear. Now I know where to go to delve into any specific areas I choose. This is a beautiful book to hold in your hands, with nice thick pages and interesting pictures. It was exactly what I was looking for.

This was a gift for my wife. She loved it and references it regularly.

A great resource for those of us who have a difficult time keeping all the royals in order. Easy to use. Comprehensive--a good overview.

I bought this as a gift for my roommate's birthday. She's enjoys it a lot. The book is really good and providing decent coverage on the monarchy of Britain, and also provides historical backgrounds for what was occurring in the world/Britain during their reign. Awesome illustrations as well.

The wording, font type is TOO SMALL. Hard to read. I wish this had larger font. Too small of a book.

great concept, but the book is small and the font is tiny (6-8pt) and binding material is flimsy. Can you make it bigger... i'll pay $50 +

The book is very informative about the kings & queensGood as a reference guide if looking for a certain ruler and with good information about the ruler and family.The book also works as a stand alone read and makes you understand better easy period of rule in Britain.I find it very useful for history and learning about the periods of time and the people that ruled this country

The book is concise, and yet it covers a wide subject. It is well written and is suitable for those who are not academically minded, who just want a basic grounding about the Kings and Queens of England.
