Screen Protector Compatible with 2020-2023 Tacoma 8 Inch Touch Screen Anti Glare Scratch Navigation Protection Tempered Glass

I was a little leery when I first purchased this screen protector because I was concerned about the protector effecting the sensitivity of the screen yet I wanted to protect the screen so I gave it a try. Those concerns were unfounded. There is no change in the sensitivity of the screen. The protector was easier to install than a screen on a cellphone and it fits perfectly around the buttons and provides edge to edge coverage.

The good: The screen protector looked good and fit the 2020 Tacoma head unit very good.The very bad: That being said, I was not successful in getting it installed and wasted my money. It’s hard enough to put a screen protector on an iPhone 100% successfully, now triple the size of the screen! I went through all the steps, just like you would on a phone screen protector (like I’ve done dozens of times) lined it up, and got excited. Sure enough, there was one spec dead center that I noticed right away and tried pulling the screen back...it cracked at the top left, where it’s weak around the first audio button...bummer. I thought “I can salvage this” but now I’m trying to get the spec off the screen it only got worse. I know, your thinking “well you have to have it clean!” Yes, thank you, I’m aware of that, but I can’t control a micro spec from floating on to a static screen 8” wide. That’s the point.If you feel like you can get it 100% clean, you have a shot and I think you’ll be happy with the protector. There is no margins of error on cleanliness or structural integrity of the protector. 1 minor mistake and you’ve wasted $20. I’ll just stick with the factory glass and not worry about protecting it. I just received the box and it came with a plastic protector to hold the screen, install accessories...and NO SCREEN PROTECTOR lol waited a week and paid twice as much for this. I started the return process even though i only have an empty box to return, not holding my breath i will get my money back.

If I could have done "Negative Stars" I would have.I have installed these in the past, with no issues at all. This one was not good. While installing it, it cracked near one of the small buttons along the side. Once installed, I had a really difficult time getting the bubbles out, and a week after installation the bubbles had grown much larger.I finally took it off and threw it away. Not at all happy with it.

A great concept, but I didn't notice "Fragile" anywhere on the packaging. From previously installing similar covers to cell phones, the covers flexes to help remove air bubbles. This one broke on the lower right side. Did what it's supposed to, but now has cracks. Warnings to combat precious film type covers installations. Seems like it will do very well other than not being flexible. Brittle would be a more accurate description.

This is a great cover for the touch screen. I like that it is minimizing the fingerprints on it and also, since I tend to drive home from work as the sun is setting behind me, the glare is minimal in my eyes. Just make sure that you do all you can to not have any dust/lint particles on the screen before applying the cover. I cleaned and wiped the screen really good but unfortunately one small thread landed and i have a very small bubble. Not a problem, everything still works and looks great!

Overall, the glass finish gives the screen a much more premium look and feel. Installation was a breeze. However, no matter how clean or how much pressure you put, the edges next to the buttons won’t seem to adhere. I used to work for a company that required me to install screen protectors daily, so I’ve done this plenty of times before. Overall, I like how it makes the screen look. I’ll keep it installed for now.
