It is something I could do.
I watched a you tube video and thought I could do this replacement with an attitude that if it didn't work then it would be time for me to buy a new laptop. Going slowly one evening I took out the zillion tiny screws and got the CPU, Speakers, Battery all removed. The mini screws that held the keyboard were removed and the new keyboard installed. I ended up with several screws left over, but I am using this old laptop to write this review. The backlighting doesn't work but everything else does. The little wire ribbons need special finesse. But the darn thing works like new. I'm happy.

Every button works perfect and the backlighting!!It made this older laptop top of mine work like new.I also added memory and replaced the aging hard drive with an SSD. This old computer keeps up with my new one now!
