I have a terribly hard dryer vent to clean and I dread cleaning it. To start it's 10 feet off the ground and then I have 3 - 90 degree turns within the first 2 feet of the duct work. My old cleaner was a 1 piece that required me to hand start that first 2 feet and I always tore my arm up getting it started.This product made the entire cleaning process a breeze. The extension pieces were short enough to allow me to safely navigate the ladder and to add the extensions as I progressed. The initial 2 feet was still a bit of a challenge, but a few tries and I was able to make it past this section and was able to clean the remaining 15' feet of duct. I used to dread this project and that made it easy to not do this every year. No more excuses. I repacked the box with the parts and now have it labeled, "36' Dryer Vent Kit - Amazing!"Nice work.

This is a great cleaning brush. Our drier vent has two 90 degree elbows between the drier wall and the outside vent cover. The rods were flexible enough to allow the brush to move through all the obstacles easily. Before using the brush I did watch a UTune video that advised putting black tape on the joints in case you reverse the drill. You won’t unscrew the rod joints. It was great advice as I accidentally did reverse the drill while adding another rod. It took more time to prepare for the cleaning and clean up after the vent cleaning than it did to do the actual cleaning itself. Our vents hadn’t been cleaned in over 10 years. They are now! And they will stay that way in the future. Only drawback is the dryer lint trap brush. It should be more flexible and horizontal instead of vertical.

I bought this to give my husband something to do in his free time, and finding tasks for him is my favorite hobby--I kid, I kid, but he did enjoy cleaning out the vent and we really found a lot of lint in our system. Makes me feel better knowing that fire hazard has been addressed. Our duct is about 10' from the dryer to the outlet so it was really helpful to have the length. It didn't take too much time, the hardest part was moving the dryer to do it.

I bought to use at my girls friends house, which really needed it and it worked just as I thought it would (Good), and was super easy to assemble and use so now I will be doing my house because, why not. lolGood product at a fair price.
