This is a very solid support for my Garmin Varia. My largish seat bag doesn’t interfere with it and visa versa. Do use the lock tite that comes with it. One of my screws backed itself out and fell off somewhere.

Works well with the BontragerAeolus saddle with metal rails.

Very easy to install and works with my saddle bag. Seems sturdy. Just had to rotate the female attachment piece to accept the varia in the proper direction.

The item pictured is full aluminum, that's what I thought I was getting. The one sent the mounting plate for the plastic Garmin half-turn piece is plastic. The mount is shaped like a cross with 4 brass inserts. The one pictured is aluminum, round, and has threaded holes in it to mount the Garmin half-turn adapter.

Beyond disappointed. Used the mount with my Garmin varia, only to find the mount had fallen off on a routine bike ride.

I didn't use this as intended, but modified it to hold my Varia rear-view radar detector to my rear rack. Works great in my application!

Installs easily on the seat rails, out of sight, and more concealed than the OEM version. No rubber bands either. The only critique I have is with the plastic insert used to mount the Varia tail light. It's no precisely molded to provide a "snug" fit, and it's material is more dense than the OEM version. I have a number of these on most of my road bikes and they have worked well, and without mishap.

fits well on my saddle. wish it came with an extension for the mount to sit further back. hardware (screws) are very cheap.
