the best framing nail gun on the planet
NR83A is by far, the best framing nail gun on the planet. But, gas strip nailers are "standard" in the area I'm in now [air guns work better]. So, when it came time to get a gas gun, I first looked to Hitachi, as they know how to make a great nail gun. I have not used it that much [less than a box of nails], but so far is superior in feel, balance, function, and performance to the Paslode [which seems to be the standard/favorite in this area]. My only guess as to why Paslode has gained this position is that due to a lack of experience with great tools, mediocre has become an acceptable substitute. I look forward to using the NR90GC2, seeing how many ways it is the best gas nail gun in the market. Four stars only as it IS a gas gun, and gas guns just do not stack up well to air guns.

Really good hand feel
Really good hand feel. Very light for such a sturdy device. Worked fine with standard Paslode propellant, and Hitachi specific nails.Unfortunately, I wasn't able to test the unit extensively, as my nail-gun had a failed safety light. When I realized that the safety light wasn't working properly, I returned the item to Amazon. I didn't want to risk a crew injury if the tool failed to indicate a jam, or other problem.

but good enough for my purposes
Powerful. 35 degree nails are not the easiest to come by, but the angling of the nail magazine does help getting in tight spaces. The battery had to be recharged at about 800 rounds and the fuel cell lasted for about 1000. Not exactly as advertised, but good enough for my purposes.

Be free of the air line
Amazing nailer, used everyday for over a year. Worth it's weight in gold. On the edge of being too powerful

No local gas cells
I was really looking forward to using this. It feels great. Good balance. The only problem is no local Hitachi gas cells or nails. Hitachi said it would only use their cells.

good to have that extra battery
works well in Canadian climate, good to have that extra battery, also purchased an extra, no problem finding nails as previous reviews stated, Bostich came recommended by local dealer and they work fine. much better than dragging around three hoses on a build.
