InvisibleShield for HTC Hero - Sprint - Screen

I couldn't install this wrinkle-free. I soaked the shield per the instructions, but it just wouldn't slide into place on the screen of my Hero.I was able to carefully peel the protector off, and resoaked with the provided spray-on liquid. Still no dice.The shield is substantial, and I'm sure it will protect the screen, but the wrinkle is annoying.

Don't get me wrong, the invisibleSHIELD product is great, however when I followed the instructions and placed it on my Hero the liquid was able to ooze pass the adhesive of the screen and distrupt the functionality of the touch screen. If you purchase this product, please be careful and check your Hero to verify that the screen is not separated from the device.

These work so well that I put them on all phones, a GPS and soon my E-reader. I have never had to replace one, and you can carry your phone in your pocket and not worry about the screen getting scratched.

I was excited to read the great reviews on this. I did not find any mention on the description that the device had to be turned off for at least 12 hours, preferably 24. I don't have a landline and I am required by my work to be reachable 24/7. I would have to call in a relief manager just to place the shield on my phone!

So I got an invisible shield for my phone because I know that I abuse my phones. However, I have been pretty cruelty free to this one. But then... I left my phone sitting on our coffee table. My roommates and I went to grab some grindage. I live with 4 other people.. two of which have German Shepard puppies. Well... Our coffee table is only about 15 inches or so off the floor. So they easily reached up and grabbed my phone. Apparently smart phones are delicious. Well, we walked in the door after eating and the first thing I notice is my phone in pieces on the kitchen floor. I was LIVID to say the least. However, after putting all the pieces of my protective case in the garbage, and putting the battery cover back on the phone, I realize the phone had some pretty deep gashes in the screen. I removed the invisible shield... and sure enough... the touchscreen was unharmed. I will forever owe my phones life (and my social life) to invisible shield.Cons of the shield is that they are so thick that the sensitivity of the touchscreen is affected a little. But nothing that would make me think that not having a shield is worth risking.

I had purchased an inexpensive screen cover and it was scratched so much, I decided to try a Zagg. My husband had gotten one when he got his new phone and said it was a lifetime guarantee. I really like the "touch" funtion with this Zagg. I didn't realize how much simpler it is to use my touchphone with the Zagg compared to my cheap screen cover.

ive had this cover on my htc hero for over a year now. can't complain about it. it's protected my phone from MANY scratches!! only bad thing was the cover was a little tricky to put on, but once i smoothed out the air bubbles it looked perfect!

After having a ZAGG shield on my phone for a year now, I have dropped it several times and the screen protector is still in perfect working order.No Bubbles. No large scratches. No problems with my touch screen. No worries. Highly recommend this screen shield for ANYONE!
