Look good but only 2 ply. Also 1 tire came very distorted.
2 4.80 - 8 trailer tires - listed as 6 ply in ad but is only 2 (or 2 tread & 2 sidewall) written on tire.Tires were shipped with only a shipping label on them. They were exactly the same and came from the same place and arrived on 2 different days!? One arrived perfectly shaped and easy to mount. The other was distorted at some point in shipping. I slightly heated it (<200°) in an oven which seemed to help. Got it mounted but it wouldn't bead on the rim. Left it out in the sun a day, used a lot of soapy water, wrestled with it a bit, and it finally beaded.Overall, they look good mounted. Hope they perform for years to come.

These are extremely difficult to mount.
I gave these 4 stars because these seem to be a heavy tire, built thick, I'm hopeful they will cary the load they are rated for.These tires came formed out of shape, maybe squeezed from a shipping method? I have changed tires by hand all my life, and don't remember ever struggling more to mount a tire to a rim. Because these tires were squeezed out of shape they were almost impossible to inflate, the beads were twisted and resisted seating on the wheel.Maybe if you have access to a tire machine sized to work with this sized tire, you could do better than I did.

Best tires for trailer
Have tried several brands of trailer tire and Carlisle out lasts and runs truer than even biggest name brands.

Hard to find this size
I had a hard time finding this size tire for my old Sears 1975 utility trailer. The tires look well made and mounted on my old rims with no problem. Should last a lifetime since I will only be towing the trailer a few hundred miles each year.
