I scoffed when I opened the package and saw a note asking me to give an Amazon Review. Who would write a review for a shower curtain hook? Well I have to eat crow. I would. I am.Look I bought these things because I needed a hook and don't want a plastic one for appearance and durability reasons. I'm throwing away the old clear plastic ones that are now yellow, and looking for a new look in the shower, along with a lot of other little updates in the bath. So I looked for a metal one but cheap you know?I bought these and just putting them in I realized someone has made a really thoughtful update to the product.First, they are DOUBLE hooks, they have two prongs, one for the curtain, one for the liner, instead of sharing the same hook. That allow a slight separation of the two and a straighter hang for both and a nice look. The separation means they won't stick together and allow moisture to be trapped between them so the thing dries out faster and no mildew. The design allows for a much easier installation of both curtain and liner.And the hook itself with the bead like rollers where it hooks over the rod slides much more easily due to lower contact surface, you will be surprise how nice the effect is when you slide the curtain open.Okay I have never paid much attention to these things until now, and I'm going to buy a set for the other bathroom even though they don't need replacing.Bravo to the designers!

These shower hooks look great and were very easy to install. They are rust proof, making them much more durable, unlike many other shower hooks I've tried which are NOT rust proof.

I bought these to replace old, dirty plastic rings I couldn't get clean. These hooks are awesome and will make it much easier to replace the plastic shower liner periodically as well as the times when I wash the fabric shower curtain, which never seems to happen at the same time. These hooks do slide along the rod easily and look nice. One thing I noticed is that both the fabric curtain and the plastic liner hang about an inch lower because of how these hooks are designed, which makes them almost too long for my shower as they now hit right at the curve between the side and bottom of the bathtub. It's not a problem, but if your rod is lower, you might need to raise it to compensate. Also, one of the hooks I received only has four roller balls at the top of the hook instead of five. It's not that noticeable and the hook moves just fine on the rod still, but it was a flaw and the reason for four stars instead of five. If I had purchased these in a store rather than online, I'd be returning them and exchanging for a new set, but I'm not willing to pay for shipping and wait for the hassle of a new purchase to arrive.

These work as expected and are attractive.

Makes it so easy to take off, wash and reattach my shower curtain ever week. They are holding up very well. No signs of rust and we have had them for a while.My only wish for aesthetic reasons only is that they make them with a thicker gauge and more substantial feel to them.Overall a great purchase. Still worth 5 stars.

These are the best shower-curtain hooks I have ever used in many years of keeping my own house. I have one set of chrome on our second floor bathroom tub and shower. I like them so much, I am going to soon buy an other set for our downstairs full bathroom. (Scintillating story, isn't it?)I'm very short. (Under 5 feet.) In order to change shower-curtains, I have to find and then stand on a step stool, stool or chair, then try not to break my neck attempting to remove both the *decorative* shower curtain and the *waterproof* shower curtain even if I am only replacing one curtain,, because they are both on the same hook or ring. Usually the decorative curtain is trapped on the side of the curtain ring I can't get to unless I first remove the waterproof curtain. Then I need to get back on the floor, then grab the new curtain and replace *both* shower the decorative and waterproof curtains again, struggling the entire time, hoping I don't fall off the stool into the tub and break my head on the tile.With these, it take much less than half the time to replace one or both curtains, because you only have to remove the curtain you are replacing, and even when you are replacing both the decorative curtain and the waterproof curtain.The little ball bearings slide quietly and smoothly on the curtain rod and they have been in my bathroom for almost 2 years and I haven't seen a spot of rust on any of them.It's a little thing, replacing shower curtains, but when someone invents a little thing like a curtain hook with *two* hooks so you can spend less time on a step stool or the baby's sink stool and can then easily replace either one curtain or both curtains without a struggle, it males one's day just a little easier.To whomever invented these; thank you. .
