This adapter was the perfect solution for getting my Wii to work with my smart TV. It was easy to set up, and the picture quality is great. I really like the way the adapter outputs the video signal, and the Wii remote works just fine with it. I'm really happy with this purchase.

I have heard a lot of bad about these things, but I decided it was worth a try, and I'm glad I did, it makes it easy to connect it to most modern TVs, as some have mentioned you need an upscaler for 4K but if I could afford a 4K TV I could surely afford an upscaler as well. I have bought three of these now, two white and one black, each one has worked great out of the box. Will update this review if any fail, but fingers crossed! Don't forget to switch video out on the Wii to 480p! If the wii2hdmi device fails in this situation though, you won't be able to see anything unless you have a set of component (not VGA) cables and a compatable display.

I've experienced no issues with connectivity or picture quality. I got it in my mind to break out my old Wii, but alas, newer TVs don't have the proper inputs to hook it up. Step in this device - transmits the picture and sound perfectly, and allows me to get a little nostalgia gaming in for a reasonable price.

This product does what it is intended to do. It converts the RCA port to an HDMI Port. I gave it four stars because for the price, this really isn't a bad product at all. It does the job that it is intended to do pretty well. Setting it up was really easy, as you just plug it into the RCA port and then plug and HDMI cord into it. It does not come with an HDMI cord, as it is not listed in the description. While the product does the intended job, it still has some drawbacks. After some time, a blur appears on the bottom half of the screen. This is especially true in more graphically intensive Wii games. Additionally, this HDMI Adapter does get hot. It doesn't get so hot that it will burn you but it does get hot enough where I have worried about the components inside of it deteriorating. I have had this product for 2 1/2 months and still works the same as when I got it.Things to consider:1.) The size of the product. If you plan on hiding your Wii in a small cabinet on your tv console, then make sure you add the additional length of this product to your Wii length, to see if it will fit.2.) I'm not sure whether my product is defective or not but it does create a blur on the bottom of the screen while playing games, mostly.3.) Don't forget to purchase an HDMI cord separately, in order to plug this product into your TV.

I have an old wii that I soft modded a while agoI had it hooked up to a crt but I wanted it on my monitor at my desk so I can play my games in widescreen in the comfort of my nice office chair. (My monitor doesn’t have any av ports nor do I have an av to hdmi adapter)Que the wii2hdmi.. this baby is a lovely little doo-dad that breaths new life into my old wii, I didn’t even know the wii was capable of putting out a picture quality this clean it looked THAT good.AND it was super easy to “set-up” if you want to even call it that… it’s plug and play baby!! All you really need to do is turn on widescreen from within the wii.The only and I mean ONLY issue I have with it is it can have some weird scaling issues with my monitor (1440p) where it has black bars all around it, but that’s honestly not even a big deal if you know how to play with scaling.. it’s only a problem if you plan on doing this to a completely unmodded system.Anyways, I definitely recommend this thing to anyone who actually likes the wii and would even recommend this to hardcore purists who still play on crts since it does give out a cleaner signal (that is if you can plug an hdmi into your crt lol)

I had bought 2 other devices prior to this purchase. Extra cords, glitchy and intermittent problems etc. and returned both of them.I gave this to my child and he figured it out on his own and the picture is great, easy install and have had no problems with it.Do not buy any other converters but this one.

Nice product

It worked only for 15 days. Now its not working . There is no way to connect to customer care or raise complaint. Even thogh it has warranty left but not able to connect to team .
