ZEBRAClip-on multi 1000S Multifunctional Pen, 4 Color 0.7 mm Ballpoint and 0.5 mm Mechanical Pencil, Red Barrel (B4SA3-R)

I have always been a fan of Zebra pens. This one does not write smoothly. The ink is not as bold or dark as I wanted too. It writes very light to me.

I got this pen years ago as a gift. I loved it so much I went and bought another one. My only problem is the eraser and the face that other ink refill colors aren’t available on Amazon. There are about 10 other colors on Zebra that I wish were available for refills. Great pen, wish it was easier to order supplies for it.

Husbun here: I love this pen! It not only has four pen colours (black, blue, green, red) and one 0.5mm pencil, it also has eraser and the clip is a literal spring-loaded clip, not just a slidey clip like one expects with pens! The colour is this really cute pastel pink, I would say a cool-toned pastel pink, slightly metallic/pearly. I had to scribble a lot to get the black working, but the rest of the 3 colours worked instantly, and all 4 flow really well. The green is even a bit darker than in a bic multi-barrel! The little trigger-button thingies that you use to activate the different pens are slightly pastelified—the black trigger is dark grey, the red is slightly raspberry-pink, etc—but this doesn't indicate the pen ink is any lighter, it's just to go with the pink of the barrel. It's super cute, I love design details like that! I got this pen to use with my new (very small, I suspect) molang planner, and I feel confident this pen makes thin enough lines to fit into a small space. Unlike most ballpoint and gel pens I've tried, I truly feel like this pen gives a 0.7mm line, and the ink flows very smoothly, the green! The barrel is also thick and comfy for people who need a thick barrel. Definitely my new favourite pen.

For the most part, this is a great pen. The pencil, however, isn't as great. As stated earlier, the eraser is very small and has a cap that you have to remove and put back on each time (it gets a little annoying). The mechanical pencil doesn't retract or deploy very smoothly, and the graphite breaks most of the time while deploying the pencil. The graphite advancing mechanism is poor quality and doesn't always work right, or the graphite slides back into the pencil when trying to write.Stars off for the high price and flawed pencil.

Just the best pen ever for someone that needs multicolor. This is my third one. Lost my first one, and still have the second one, just wanted a different color. These are so reliable. It seems they are only available online. In the stores locally only the BIC is available, and it has failed me in the past after the first use, sometimes, the ink is already gummed up on initial purchase. Spend the extra money, you'll appreciate it when it never goes bad on you, until someone else borrows it and doesn't return it.

I love everything about this pen. The smoothness and the ability to change colors without changing pens. Zebra has another group of pens with a more expensive look and quality, but after I purchased a few the price skyrocketed. This pen has the same writing quality without the inflated price.

Best multi pen used. The led pencil is what makes this get five stars. Only improvement may be a better eraser. Used it up quickly, but the eraser is a good one. Pens write tightly and click nicely. The click of the ink pens is looser then a BIC, but this pen's large barrel with grip makes some writing styles better.

Handy to have multiple colors. Barrel is okay but I prefer the Uni Jetstream multi pen. Just a personal preference; this is still a good pen.
