Golden Rose Stick Foundation, 2

Wow. I've never been snobbish about price grade of makeup I'm using - my vanity has items priced anywhere between $5 and $100 sitting on it. Needed a stick foundation that would be easy to apply, and knew "Golden Rose" brand only from their line of nail polishes (which are quite good). So, this purchase was on a whim.I must say, that I am very much impressed with coverage and staying power. A little goes a long way and lasts all day. A few strokes on the forehead, chin, nose and both cheeks, then blended well with a brush - and this stick provides full coverage without layering or feeling cakey. Conceals imperfections, dark circles (without gathering or accentuating crows feet, btw), shades and spots and provides clean uniform canvas for applying the rest of the makeup. Takes contouring manipulations and finishing powders very well and holds on entire day.Note - what it does not do is provide that translucent no-make-up-make-up coverage a CC cream would, it really is FULL coverage without using a lot of product. Some compare it with now-deceased Max Factor Foundation Panstick (that one actually felt cakey). I'd compare it with MAC foundations because of the unexpected quality and staying power without greasy feel.I'm considering this inexpensive thingy my cosmetic find of the year. May now try the rest of Golden Rose items. Seems legit.

I like it. It's kind of matte but not powdery matte. The shade of shade 2 works for me. It's a tiny tad dark but still close and it didn't oxidize on me

I have never used stick foundation in my entire life...until now! I absolutely love it! I could not believe how mush less I use than liquid foundation. This color was perfect for me and looks SO natural, Does not look at all like caked on foundation. I am definitely ordering more of this so I have some extras. I also have never tried this brand of make-up until now and I love it. I have already switched to a bunch of their stuff. I have VERY sensitive skin, so was concerned if this would cause a break out or anything, it has not at all. Covers the red "splotches" I have here and there, and so much faster to put on! For me it was great.

This stuff is amazing! One of my favorite foundations, and such a great value. Very good coverage, blends nicely, lasts several hours before I need to touch up.

I bought this after seeing Thataylaa review this on Youtube, like some other reviewers have mentioned. I loved the price of it and I was trying to find a nice every day foundation, preferably waterproof.This did not work for me. I have dry skin and this just clumped and clung and emphasized all of my dry skin patches.I wore this one day when I happened to be having a happy skin day with no dry patches and it looked beautiful.But that was one day. I need it to look beautiful every time I wear it.Ladies, if you have dry skin, this probably isn't gonna work for you.On a different note, I am pale with neutral undertones. I purchased shade #2. It worked, the color match was okay, it leaned pretty yellow but was workable.Edit: I have gotten more sun as of late so the shade match, while still a little yellow for me, looks quite good.I have also gotten my skin to a consistent hydration level so I can wear this more frequently.New things I've noticed is that it is very streaky with a brush. A sponge is the way to go with this foundation.Also, it transfers like crazy.

The product is amazing.. I mean you first of all cant beat the price, I love stick foundation but cannot come to the realization that my skin is just to dry for it or maybe its just because its winter... Ive wore the product twice already and both for longer than 10 hour work days and I think it held up well! Not really any complains here.

Color is perfect match, I usually wear light.. It could afford to stay on a but longer but then again it might not glide and blend so seamlessly. Perhaps a finishing spray would assist with the longevity of the coverage.

I was skeptical when I got this because of the price, but this is the most natural makeup I've used. It actually matches my skin, and a little goes a long way. I can blend it with my fingers, for easy days or layer it on problem spots.
