Minus 2 stars for the packaging, not so much the actual product.This notebook came shipped in just a bubblewrap envelope, no plastic wrapped around it. It made the corners dinged quite a bit, enough to bend all of the pages at one corner. The protective paper on the back was bent and folded very badly, which isn't an issue in and of itself (since it's, well, protective paper) but it shows how roughly this thing was handled. There was also an amazon sticker on the cover that was quite difficult to get off. Pretty disappointed with this, as I intended to give it as a gift, but I cannot in this condition.The notebook itself is pretty nice! Very charming looking. Awesome paper, feels slightly thinner than my 120 GSM notebooks (don't quote me on the exact weight of this one tho) so very high quality and would take pen well. The cover feels a little more fragile than I would've liked, especially the back, which kind of feels like stiff cardstock. The pages are a little tough to get open since the coil diameter is quite small compared to the amount of pages. Super cute drawings on the pages. They're numbered, too.Nice overall (minus the packaging issue), but I'm a little worried about how well it could hold up to prolonged use.

This journal is a nice journal. I like how the one side of the leaf is lined and the other side is grid format. This really helps me with note taking at classes. The design of the journal is nice. The cover art looks amazing and the cover feels nice and strong, but I had the journal only for a month (at the time of posting this review). It is made in Colorado and that was one of the main reasons for buying this journal. For those who want made in USA, this journal is in that category. If you're like me, and you have an appreciation for your writing supplies, this journal won't disappoint. It's very sturdy, and the pages are also heavier than regular paper, ruled on one side, grid on the other. I use it to record plans, snippets, and anecdotes that will go into my memoir. I just love it!!

This notebook is awesome. It holds up against all of my felt tip pens (Maped Graph' peps and Le Pen) without bleeding. Held up well to daily use and abuse in my backpack. Would buy again and recommend.

This is exactly what I expected and is perfect for me. i am using it sort of as a journal/scrapbook combined.

Love the fish illustrations at the bottom of the page. The color of the paper is a great change from the norm

The paper quality is excellent, and I especially like the combo of lined and grid paper. Lovely design features throughout.
