Whetstone Knife Sharpening Stone

Nicely thought out product. Contains stone, base, angle guides, protective glove. I only need the stone but a good price. The grades seem accurate.

This product arrived intact and the packaging undamaged. All of the pieces were included and safely secured. The included guide's illustrations and instructions are easy to follow. As a first time user, I was a little nervous about the possibility of the knife slipping and being cut, but the base sits securely on my counter top and eases control of motion.Everything fits compactly into the box and it is easy to store. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is not at all that the product does not do it's job, but that I am prone to laziness and this does require effort. However, in conclusion, my knives are much sharper than they were when using my other sharpener that you pull the blades through. And they stay sharp longer, too.

For the price you pay it's not too bad i mean it will sharpen your knifes. But it won't compare to any top name brands.

I like the set up for the most part. The angle gauges are a good touch, although don’t work that great with larger knives.It has a decent case, but would be improved if it had a locking top to keep it all contained.The rubber boot for the stone does not provide enough stability to keep from slipping on countertop, but with a towel under the frame, it works fine.As far as the stone, it works as advertised. Good quality and I am sure it’ll last a long time.I have only used it once, but will be pulling it out soon for my other sharpening needs.

This is exactly as described and I was very pleased with its quality. There is a definite learning curve to correctly sharpening knives and it takes patience. I've yet to achieve the knack of creating a really sharp blade, but with further practice I hope to make that happen.

I was afraid to sharpen my own knives until I got this knife sharpening set. I never realized how dull my knives were until I sliced a tomato after sharpening my first knife. I immediately had to sharpen all my other knives. My other alternative was to buy new knives. I am happy with my knives again now
