We have a remote computer that sits in a machine room. Rarely do you need access to it on the kvm but this works great to take a display port only computer and interface it with our older 8 port VGA KVM. We run it at 1080 and it works fine.

Great device! It’s more expensive than the cheap Chinese ones because it is better quality. Get this one you won’t regret it 6 months later.

I have an older Windows 7 machine. Was given a second VGAmonitor. The motherboard only has one VGA port but also has a displayport. I really needed two monitors and was hoping this would work. Plugged it in, configured the display in the screen resolution window and it works beautifully so far. Love it!

The hdmi on the tv made the image look bad, the tv needed the vga port to make the image look good from the pc. You wouldn't think it would matter, but it does on some tv's.

I use the adapter to add an old LCD monitor to my computer setup. Now I have three monitors in use. So far, there is no issue and setup is straight forward and just plug adapter to video card and other end to the standard RGB cable.

This DisplayPort-VGA adapter works properly and arrived quickly. I would buy it from this supplier again. This adapter is used for connecting older style computer monitors (i.e., with VGA connectors) to new PCs that connect to monitors using DisplayPort connectors. There is no need to buy a new monitor when using this adapter. Save a lot of money and buy the adapter.

I like the ease of use of this product. I also love the quality of the image.

worked fine for about 20 uses of about an hour at a time. Now when turn on computer this adapter won't start up and pass any signal, have to unplug it from the computer and plug it back in with computer on, then it will work fine. Bought 2 of these and luckily can swap them for the short term but will have to replace the bad one and hope the second lasts until I can get a replacement. Won't be buying this unit, which cost more than other adapters on the market thinking higher price meant a better quality, but guess not.
