Wasted time and money..
The magnets on this seem strong but anytime I jump or even step down of a ladder or something my tape hits the ground, maybe with a lighter 16 foot tape it might work but what are you going to get done with a 16' tape!

By one of there other products and use a quality tape measure
Used it a few times. The magnet attached to tape is held by a screw that worked it self loose. It fell from holder and the tape measure hit floor. Looked down and 13' of tape had came out of the tape. It is plastic case.
