I like the cards, but I need phonetic spelling to aid in pronounciation
My daughter is excited to learn Spanish, so I thought this flashcard set would be an excellent introduction to a number of languages. Each card has a picture of food on one side and the name of the food in English, plus 16 other languages on the back. Each language has its own symbol, so you know which language the words are from (the key is on the main card).I like this set, but I would have preferred a phonetic pronunciation. I think there is enough space on the card to include it. I am unsure how each language pronouncing their own words, and with a flash card set that begs to learn verbal language skills, I think that pronunciation is vital.

Perfect for an adult or older child
These were a little confusing to us, but we figured them out - might be for a little older child. I can see where these would be great even for an adult to learn. Nice flash cards that come in their own box. Good quality cards, nice and heavy duty.
