Delivery was prompt, unfortunately the battery and tester was missing. Emailed company and received an apology. Several phone calls later, (1 to Germany) the battery and tester arrived a week later.I was dubious this wouldn't be as good as a 12 Volt battery but is just as strong. As my husband found when he accidentally grapped the rope with Both hands. The energiser is very compact and works really well on the rope that's used to keep another horse out of my field. Easy to set up and is giving out 5000 volts. If you can over look the delivery error I would definitely recommend this unit

I bought this for the fencing to my horses paddock as we kept getting an unwanted visitor.I was a little dubious given the great price and delivery from Germany.The item arrived in good time, however it was missing the battery and the fence tester. A quick email and two days and the replacements arrived.The whole item was very easy to set up and install and has worked wonderfully, no more unwanted guests.For those of you worried that the smaller capacity battery will no pack the same punch as a car battery, having tested both systems with the included tester & unfortunately my hand, I can reassure you that both have the same output!I was particularly impressed that I don't need to worry about the battery running out of charge with the solar panel, which already seems to be working well.All in all, don't hesitate, this is a very good product, all in, at a good price

Everything arrived as expected in the box. I had read a few posts that there had been problems with the battery not found in the box, but for me everything was there and ready to go. Very easy to set up, left in the sun for two days before using to charge the battery. Just my preference. Set it up quickly, switched on and checked voltage through the fence wire. Great. My only observation is that the live wire from the box to the fence wire is just a bit short. I have tall fences post and run two strands as one on my horses will pop the fence or pull up the post if it is knee height! Pleased with buy.

Was not sure at first with it being a 9v battery (still confused as to how it works with a non rechargeable battery but it does) but bought it anyway in November.It arrived quickly and I put it to work not expecting to much as it was winter. I also put a larger 9v battery on a shorter fence at the same time. This one is still going strong as I found out this morning when I got the biggest shock I have ever had from an electric fence. It is the only energiser that my escape artist has any respect for, he normally walks straight through the fence but not this one. Saving up for another now. Love it.

This has been in use for one month and so far it been very good!***Review after 7 months*** BEWAREI purchased this item in April, its now the beginning of December and the unit has ceased working.I contacted the seller and this was their reply.Please understand that a 9V battery is not rechargeable and therefore has to be replaced from time to time.The battery that comes with the energiser lasts for some months.We suggest to buy a new battery. Either you find it local or you can buy it online.If you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact us.I purchased this item as an all in one unit assuming that the solar panel was to charge the battery, had I known this was not the case my £110 would have gone towards a unit fit for purpose! To find myself with my moneys worth turned to scrap I can tell you that I am very annoyed that I have lost this amount of money in 7 months and still need a fencing unit!!!

Seems to work as it should, acciedently touched it and got a shock...... I was hoping it would have been a bit more powerful as my horse has no respect for fences, but so far so good! Easy to set up and easy to move around the field

Fantastic quality item, all components present, easy to use, highly recommended and at a great value price. We are using the system easily and effectively with a group of horses, usually 6-9 in number. We cannot fault the quality of the components and it was handy having everything in one package, rather than needing to find cables or panels or a battery to connect it all together. Packaged well and promptly delivered - all correspondence was in German but no real need to read the invoice we'd already received via email.

Everything you need except the fence itself . easy to set up , you could use the earth stake to stop it blowing over but the cable attachment hole would be covered so then you'd need another earth stake but thats not too taxing for anybody capable of unpacking the box . gives a hell of a kick as you'll inevitably find out . Good quality, easy to use, cheap and sent very quickly .
