Great value for money.
Great value for money! The only walking shoes I have found comfortable straight out of the box!! Sizing is good, quality is OK, what you's expect for the price. Now on my second pair, the first lasted nearly two years. Have been worn at least 3-4 times a week walking up to 5 miles every day over all terrain!

Good for the price
Unfortunately I had to return as they seemed one size too large (usually a UK 10 on most shoes which vary but these seemed like an 11 - even tried wearing thick socks). As I only tried them on indoors, I can't give an accurate review but they did seem comfortable and quite strong/well made with good stitching. Not the lightest of shoes (seemed as heavy as my steel toe cap work trainers) but not so heavy that it's a struggle to walk!It didn't feel like they needed to be worn in, but this could have been the fact that the size was too large for me. Compared to the more expensive £80+ branded trainers - it seems a bargain at half the price, just make sure you get the correct size.

Really great, comfortable and sturdy but lightweight.
Not long had these walking shoes but have used them every day for our regular walks and also for an 8 mile hike on the first day I used them. Instantly comfortable, and impressed with sturdy construction and good materials - not been tested yet for waterproofing as weather has been dry so far. Fit is great (with thick socks), when delivered it gives the US size on the box, but there are clear instructions/conversions available in the product information to convert to UK sizes. Its early days, and we'll see how durable they are, but am very hopeful. These seems to be a very good buy, very pleased thus far.

These Look As Those They Are 'Outlet' Quality
Having had these for about six weeks and walking about 20 miles per week, let's deal with the positives first. They are available in half sizes, so none of this either being half a size too small or half size too big to fit, which is good. The other positive is they do indeed seem to be waterproof, based on getting soaked a couple of times whilst out walking and also having to traipse through some lengthy puddles at times. As for the negatives, my initial feelings from first wearing them is that they seem to have the quality that you would expect from a manufacturers 'outlet' store, where goods are sold cheaply because the quality isn't 100%. The main issue I've had, and never experienced this ever with shoes, trainers or boots, and that is that the tongue on them is too short. As a result, within about 100 metres, the laces across the top eyelet are digging into you, as they ride over the tongue, which means that I have to tie them without using the top eyelet and then they just don't feel as snug. The second negative may be as a result of the first, but after only six weeks, one of the laces has started to disintegrate, with the outer covering coming apart, which then makes it more awkward to tie the laces as they won't go through the eyelets because the outer covering is bunching up. I can best describe the laces from the start as being very rough (like a rope with an outer thin layer), and as a result you could never get a truly tight knot. My last pair of trainers, whilst worn right down after several years of use are still on the original laces, so I'll save these before I bin them.UPDATE as of 20th November. Another four weeks and the replacement lace has also started to fray. Not only that, but both of them now feel oversize. They were size 9.5 but now feel like their size 11, and no amount of retying the laces help. I've even resorted to wearing a pair of thick winter socks and they still feel loose. Walking on level ground is bearable enough, but walking on any sort of slope and you feel your feet moving around in them.

Good walking shoes.
This is my second pair following my approval of a pair I purchased two weeks previously. I do about 10 km per day and alternate between the two pairs. Comfortable and show good wear and tear so far (about 200km so far per pair). I will probably buy these again if they wear well during the next 500km minimum walked distance I would expect from each pair..

Good shoes, but have quality issues *Updated*
I find these shoes comfortable and lightweight. I was happy with them until a month into wearing them when the external rubber section around the toes on both feet started to split. Needless to say they are no longer waterpoof.*Update - after leaving this review the manufacturer reached out to me and offered a full refund. I have to say, this is excellent customer service and I will happily give them another chance.

Seem like a good buy.
Only had these a week but the are comfortable and seem to be well made. I like the two tone design and the tread is substantial which helps stability. The interior is well padded with what I assume is a waterproof lining, not tested yet. The fit is spot-on 8.5 though might be snug if you have wide feet. Overall very pleased.

Good heavy duty trainers. Superb value for money.
I bought a pair of Merrils "for smart" at the same time as I bought these for day to day use. The Merrils cost almost exactly £100 more, and are no better.I wear them every day for walks, office and shopping. These are well made and comfortable - and excellent value for money.Update 23/02/2023: They are proving to be excellent outdoor trainers (a bit heavy for the gym / living room). Good tread pattern for walking the dog, shopping, grassy paths and mud etc. Completely waterproof so far.
