Purchased for an 11 year old and was loved right away. The only concern was whether it was dishwasher safe as it did not have that printed on the bottom of the mug. It did state online that it was dishwasher safe. Have used several times, and washed in the dishwasher on the top rack. Has held up well and bonus is the humorous saying.
