Good quality you can feel in hand
Ordered the Gearwrench 47pc set over the same size craftsman set because the gearwrench set was $7 cheaper and man am I glad I did. You can see the difference in quality the second you take the blow molded tray out of the box and remove the clear plastic shipping cover. They are nice and heavy in the hand with a nice clean chrome finish with crisp broachings. My only complaint is that the stamping on the smaller sockets is fairly hard to see because of the size of the sockets and the space to stamp sizes on but otherwise they are some of the nicest quality sockets I've owned in my 38 years of life.

Im a professional automotive technician and these sockets are everything I was looking for and more
I bought these 1/4in 6pt sockets to upgrade my tools from what I had bought for school, mostly HF and Craftsman. I love this sockets and use them daily. They bite the bolt head tight and evenly as to not round off heads. They a durable and cant take some abuse and perform without hesitation. The sockets are labeled great for easy identification. They are thick enough to be strong yet slim enough for getting into close spaces. The deep sockets are are great length not to long or short. the socket walls are not so thick they cant fit places, yet thin enough to fit places craftsman wouldn't. I absolutely love my GW tools, I am in process of transferring all my tools to gearwrench because they are excellent tools. In my opinion just as good as Snap-on at a 1\4 of the price. Warranty is easy, Just go to my local store that sells their products and no hassle get it exchanged without receipt. If your looking for quality tools for home or professional use without breaking the bank, then these are definitely the sockets your looking for. I have the 44pc 1/2 SAE/Metric impact set, the 16pc metric open end wrenches, the 11 pc box end wrenches, the 44 1/4in sae/metric socket set and will be buying the 48 pc 3/8 set soon. Do not hesitate to pick these up you wont be sorry

Great set.
The sizes on the sockets are a little hard to read. Other than that I’m very pleased with the quality. The case isn’t much to be proud of but I wasn’t planning on keeping them in the original case.

Great socket set
Great set for the money spent only down side and the reason I did not give 5 stars is the case it has no lid and the sockets are not retained in any way if you are a mobile tech like me and have to secure tools in a service truck this can be a hassle but for the price it's a hassle that's worth dealing with

Great for home uae
Great for home use especially with small engines and small projects. I like the shallow broaching on the deep well sockets. This allows you to start the fastener. The low profile of the shallow sockets allows maneuvering in tight spaces. The only complaint I have is the smaller sizes on the deep well sockets, do not have a fully step profile that is found on brands like Snap-On, Williams, SK, Tekton, Icon and MAC and Matco Gearwrench do take note. Other than that they work great, this is a great set.

Sold as new, but received used set
This item was sold as new, but what I received was obviously a previously returned item and resealed. The sockets are supposed to come in a carrying case, but I only received the bottom half of the carrying case. Thankfully all the sockets were included and look like they are in good shape. I'm just irritated about something being sold as new, but was obviously a returned ite.

Tight fit
These sockets are extremely tight fitting. Also it's hard to find 1/4 in sockets in 6 point.

Never seen packaging like this from GearWrench.
There are 8 screws tapped into the face of this molded case with a cheap plastic thin cover. The plastic mold is damaged from said screws and this seems like a complete fail from all other GearWrench stuff I have purchased. This needs to be replaced for free with the correct 47-piece molded case like all the other sets I have from them. What a let down.

Affordable Quality
I’m a professional Automotive Technician and have been using GearWrench products for years. This is my first socket set from them. I’m sure they’ll perform well. The plastic organizer is pretty sturdy as well, that’s a bonus. Will fit well in my toolbox socket drawer.1/4” drive deep and shallow, metric and standard.

Nice sockets
I've been upgrading my tool box to Gearwrench over the past few years. These like their other sockets grip tight and resist slipping.I like the size etching and knurled metric and smooth SAE finish so at a glance you know what you have.

Top quality sockets in poor open tray.
The only photo in the ad did not show the box tray holding the sockets, based on the sockets description, I ordered the set. Very surprised that GearWrench deliver all these quality sockets in an open tray, not even a lockable cover.Received item with sockets all over the place as the very flimsy thin plastic screwed down dislodged, luckily all the parts are accounted for.If I knew that it did not comes with a lockable tray, I would have give it a miss, as now I need to find a cover to keep the sockets from falling out.

Really good quality sockets at a good price
These are top quality sockets at a fraction of the price of tool truck brands, but every bit as good. They're easy to read, and the tray they come in is nice although it takes up a lot of space in a toolbox. Very happy with them.

Absolutely perfect kit. Both standard and metric shallow and deep ...
Absolutely perfect kit. Both standard and metric shallow and deep sockets in a compact kit that takes up hardly any room in your toolbox. Also no need for socket tray holders as the plastic moulded case comes with it, and has sizes labeled as part of the blow mould case. From Snap-on this kit is between $400-$600, and GearWrench is a great name/great product. For $60 this is a steal.
