Not just for lawyers and Pittsburghers - an entertaining read
This account of the role of Pittsburgh lawyers in national and local historical events and developments is a very entertaining read. The book is organized in such a fashion that the reader need not plow through the book from start to finish, but can pick out eras and significant movements and sagas as interest drives the reader. It is recommended anyone with an interest on the role of lawyers generally during significant events and eras with some excellent accounts of the stories behind headlines. The book also would hold the interest of non-lawyers with a curiosity about the place of Pittsburgh during our country's growth and recent history.

Great Read
Great book. Covers a lot of ground in a readable, accessible way. About half way through. Very well written. Should be high on any lawyers reading list - and everyone else’s for that matter.
