Continually disappointed in Valiant. Such great characters ,but such terrible writing!

A real missed opportunity
Four one shots featuring the final stories of four Valiant characters, Bloodshot, Ninjak, Harbinger, and X-O Manowar. The X-O story was the only one that really resonated with me. The others all took hundreds of years in the future and seemed very contrived. Is every Valiant character going to live to be 300?
