The conversations are really nice to hear and understand. Of course you have to consider that it is not an actual conversation between a patient and a physician... But for practicing I do recommend it! Ah, let me say: it's british english.

Excellent for Doctors from other nations who need to either brush up on their medical terminology or who actually need to begin studying because they wish to further their education and experience overseas. Perfect audio with fantastic medical situations, real life based.

A good book for teaching medical English. Alot of material in the chapters to select that which most applies to population being taught. Appendix includes alot of "real life" vocabulary that English speakers use when in a medical setting. Has CD to support book.

It works for UK doctors, not all English speaking countries use the same notations, so, since my use is in the US, I found confusing to earn the British notations and didn't help me much.

You don't read the e-mails I have sent you regarding this purchase. All goes to prove that this is just some software sending stuff automatically. No human being to get in touch with.Thank God amazon.com is not the only one selling books on earth.

This book provides an excellent overview of practical ways to use English in medical practice. It proveds enough detail but not so much that it becomes overwhelming.

Great book for medical student!

A good resource but I didnt realise that it did not come with the class CD and this had to be purchased separately. This then made the whole system quite expensive. The description of the CD on the Amazon website as 'audio book is misleading and didnt suggest to me that this was in fact the class CD. It should be made much clearer as these things really do need to be used together to get the full benifit from them.

Must have for anyone wanting to join an English speaking health system
