I did not sign up for long term plan and decided to go month to month and I am very pleased with the decision to go with Ultra mobile.Their customer service, price plan and services are great. up to now.My LTE works great. My phone calls work great. My text messages work great.I could send photo message just not group text and you need to call them or follow text instructions on your phone to reset your phone VPN settings. Easy.

Oh happy day
For one penny, received SIM super fast and was able to use it right away on my LG 4G mobile bought overseas. Clear operating instructions, and so far I really can't complain about coverage, even out in the wilds of central Virginia. $20 a month for unlimited talk & text PLUS I can call France and texts friends all over the world at no extra cost. Some data is included, but I don't tend to use that. Yep, glad I switched and would surely recommend.

The sim card works , but beware the service. No customer service and if you dont live by a highway area it wont work. When we tracked service, it literally followed highways. Live within 1/2 a mile of the main highway, your golden. Further away? Forget phone service. Oh and picture messages dont work.

Great option if you have good Tmobile coverage
Works great.-Tmobile MVNO.- If you have good signal, go for it. Rates even cheaper than Tmobile.- Not sure about the actual speeds (if they get throttled a bit by Tmobile) but works for most time.- Got few for family members now everyone can have plans from $19 (just 1000 minutes) to $ 39 (unlimited all, some data caps)

finally answered the phone and said my sim card is no longer good and I have to buy another sim card
I purchased a plan in Nov. of 2014 and used it for a month. The service was ok but the unlimited Int'l calls to certain countries shut off after about 20-30 mins. of use. I let the acct. lapse and just tried to renew it. After waiting 16 mins. on the phone for customer service with messages that kept coming up saying 15 secs. until your call is answered (right)! The rep. finally answered the phone and said my sim card is no longer good and I have to buy another sim card. Instead of re-activating my sim card now, I have to go find another card. I personally find this annoying and after waiting so long on the phone to speak to someone about re-activating I really don't think I will get reliable customer service if I decide to use them again.

Cheap and good solution using the TMO network
Good service, very cheap for unlimited national calls and texts. As long as you are in T-Mobile (US) coverage, this is a great solution for someone who just wants to make/receive phone calls and text messages, and doesn't have any data need. Bring you own phone.

Throttle Down Unacceptable.
Coming from AT&T, I was a bit nervous making this change. AT&T android folks, I will walk you through it.1. Sim card came quickly, in the standard size or you can punch it out to be a micro SIM. (You basically don't have to cut it.)2. Installed it in a Nexus 5. Called to activate. (The SIM lets you call Ultra.) Be prepared with your current provider account number, pin / password on the account if you want to transfer your number. (They call it "porting your number") Coming from AT&T, make sure you have the right account number as AT&T made this difficult to find when combined with other services. Billing and Payments > Bill History > you will see "Wireless Activity-Account # XXXXX". That's the account number, not the account number on your bill.3. You select a plan / give info etc, they will port the number, and you will receive a text once the phone is activated.4. You have to set up the "APN" to receive data / MMS. Would have been nice if someone informed of this. Below is the settings for an Android device. (Search google for iPhone)Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names* Name - Ultra* APN - wholesale* Proxy - blank* Port - blank* Username - blank* Server - blank* MMSC - [...]* MMS Proxy - blank* MMS Port - blank* MCC - 310* MNC - 260* Authentication Type - blank* APN Type- default,supl,mms5. Thats pretty much it. You should be set up. Apparently you dont need to cancel your AT&T number as porting the number automatically cancels the service.- The "5% off first month bill promo" that came with the SIM was basically refused by ultra rep.- Data Speeds after my 500MB LTE 4G Speed allocation is horrible. Its comparable to dial up. I can upgrade but this puts the cost in line with just switching to another provider.

Best Bang for buck, but poor customer service.
The good;Plans are excellent. 39$ plan is amazing. Unlimited Data, calling and texts with 1650 Zero minutes. The bad:T-mobile networks can act up at times. The ugly:Support is nonexistent. I want my account number to port to Lyca mobile, been trying for a week now!
