I bought this because I was constantly unplugging one item to replace it with another. I honestly didn't know the difference between a surge protector and a power strip. My husband is an electrician and he is very impressed with the quality of this item. I love that the cord is heavy duty and has enough length that I can plug it most anywhere. With the two USB ports I don't have to use that block like adapter that takes up so much space on the power strip, this allows me to have much more use because I have more space to plug in things. My husband is impressed because this surge protector has ports to plug in other types of cables like for the TV and some port that looks like you could plug in something that looks like where that hard plastic connector on a phone would go. I had no idea I was buying such a quality product but I really feel I made a good purchase.Susan

It doesn't come with any screws to mount it to the wall like other surge protectors in this price range (and even cheaper) come with. Also, the mounting holes in the back are really shallow and small. So even with a variety of small screws I keep on hand, none of them would work. I needed to make a special run to home depot to get the four really small screws to actually mount this on my wall. And for the size, I'd prefer the mounting screws to be able to be bigger, therefore stronger.

I love this thing. I mounted it on the wall with velcro picture hangers. It gets all of my computer and charger cords off the floor and I don't have to worry about the sweeper catching them. It also puts an available outlet at an easy level so I dont have to bend to the floor. It's about at eye level when I am sitting at my desk. The long cord is perfect, since there is no outlet near my desk, I plugged it behind the couch and only a foot or so of the ford shows. I would definately buy this again.

Has 10 outlets plus usb and network outlets and phone jack in & out outlets. Seems to be good quality and heavy duty.

This power outlet I bought to use in my home to attach several appliances and it works perfectly for what I wanted it for it’s sturdy and switches off when over powered love it

I host workshops in groups and there are never enough outlets for laptops, so this worked perfectly!

I did not purchase item for travel. I wanted it in a fixed location at the cottage for TV, Blue ray disc player, phone charging etc. It is perfect for my application and with the extra surge protection I have less worries regarding my nice TV.

I didn't measure the cord length but I got the 15ft cord and I can tell it's well over 10ft. It's folded up so you may have to lay it flat for a few days while using it before you can properly get the full lengths use. I bought this specifically for the long cord, and I've only used 3 of the outlets so far. Though, it's constructed really well with sturdy plastic and it's not warm/hot with use.
