solid, comfortable and great looking!
Excellent quality. Good fit. Leather is of great quality and breaking in is not an issue. I wear a Euro size 42 and the size 9 fits perfectly. I have a high arch and slightly wide feet. This boot could go from semi casual dress to hiking and exploring without a problem. Because it is lined leather construction, they do become warm but I had no intention of wearing these in warm weather. The feel of the leather is as soft as glove leather but much thicker and rigid. I plan to treat the leather as I am uncertain if any waterproof coating has been added at the factory. I plan to keep these in good shape for a while!

run small - lacing would be improved if Patagonia swapped the top two eyelets with hooks
they run small...other than that, lacing would be improved if Patagonia swapped the top two eyelets with hooks

So far So Good
Very nice looking shoe. The fit is true to size. Only had them a week but so far very satisfied. I wore them everyday the first week I had them working and they were comfortable. I am in construction sales so I am walking around construction sites all day.

Product has major flaw--Stay Away. Never returned a product to Amazon with such disappointment B/4 (based on 6 Amazon reviews)
I would not recommend this product to anyone because of a number of problems. This is the most negative review I've ever written and because of my (Ph.D) research approach; I have never before returned a product to Amazon.1. When I received it, this pair of Patagonia boots appeared to have been preiously worn due to indentations in the leather.2. As a prior Amazon reviewed has shared, there are no instructions for this relatively expensive Tin Shed 6" Waterproof Logger-Inspired Boot to keep them waterproof since they don't seem to have the tight waterproof filament layer.3. The shoe laces for this boot are barely long enough to tie them in a single knot, much less a double knot that I like to use on boots.4. Sizing is the most important flaw on this product from my experience here. I have a slightly wide foot and wear boot socks, which are a little thicker. Normally boot socks cause me to order one size up from my 91/2 foot size, which I did in this case--a 10M because Patagonia did not offer a 10W. Also, Amazon sizing instructions were that this product was vary accurate with respect to size, which will make me question Amazon's sizing review chart in the future. I;'m very dissapointed in Patagonia and Amazon based on my purchase.

Great Boots. Get them while you still can!
These are fantastic boots. They fit perfectly out of the box and only required a week of wearing to break them in. I got these boots because they are comfortable, look great, are well-made, sturdy, and can be re-soled. Also, Patagonia stands behind their products and will make it right if something fails. The only down-side to these boots is they are kind of heavy. That doesn't bother me but might be a consideration for you.Get them while you can though. Patagonia is dropping their entire footwear line except for their waders.

Great Shoe. Sorry to see it discontinued
Great looking shoe. Nice quality leather. High quality boot. Fits as expected and very comfortable. Overall it exceeds my expectations and I am very happy. One minor minor issue: I like a tight lace look. But the construction does not allow you to close the laces/leather. The shoe fits fine. More of a look than a feel thing. The tightest the laces will close is how it looks in the picture.

yet good looking enough to wear in social occasions
I bought these for my Son. The intent was as a stylish outdoor boot that was rugged enough to be functional, yet good looking enough to wear in social occasions. Mission accomplished! Quality boot!

Great boot
I bought these for my son as an early Christmas gift and he loves them. They are beautifully made and will last a long lifetime. They are a little snug with heavy socks which he will not have on as often so decided to stay with his normal size. I did first order the half size up and they fit better with the heavy sock but since he would be wearing these daily with normal socks decided for daily comfort instead. Could just be his feet....a 10 1/4 would have been perfect if that was a real size! On a side not, I think it would have been nice to have some weatherizing instructions for a boot so expensive included. Could not find any on Patagonia website either for the leather ones. So I tho k if you are mainly wearing heavy duty socks I would order half size up.
