The ring is well made, not too thick, not too thin. A shiny sterling silver with smooth exterior and rounded inside. The inscription is easy to read without being obnoxious. It's comfortable to have on as a gentle reminder that whatever is going on in my life - this too shall pass. The item came well protected in a plastic ziplock bag, within a sheer organza bag (pink). I love this little ring and purchased two others I can highly recommend this without reservation.
