Makes Lawnmower Oil Change Easy
I have a large Mityvac fluid evacuator that’s great for vehicle oil changes, but overkill for changing the oil on my Honda mower. This small suction gun is a great alternative, as it easily pulls the 12-14 ounces out of the mower. To reach the bottom of the oil sump I added a smaller 3/8 OD section of clear vinyl tubing to the original 1/2” OD vinyl tubing using a brass reducing valve to connect the two tubing sections. Note that the original tubing has an internal diameter of only 5/16”, not 3/8”, as it’s high quality thick vinyl tubing. It take a bit of effort to pull back the plunger, but it quickly sucked out all the old oil, and it’s easy to then dispense into another container for disposal. If anyone is interested in the brass fitting for 1/2 to 3/8, here’s the Amazon item link. The fitting comes with steel tubing clamps, but I didn’t need them, the tubing seals well without them.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GVF8GXX?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Excellent for the cost!
This was a pleasant surprise! Large capacity, great suction, worked well and was very inexpensive. I used this for refilling a transmission on an X5 and it went very smoothly with the trans fluid. Would definitely buy again!

Works fine, requires good arm strength
Works well. Better have strong arms though. After a few strokes you'll feel the burn. The threading on the tube and caps are very fine, making it easy to crossthread and ruin them, so be careful when cleaning this tool not to crossthread the caps. I assume that after a few uses the seals should ease up a bit, but they're very tight from the factory. Overall a very useful tool and a great substitute for the "Wolverine Last Drop" which is 3 times the price. As a plumber I use this to empty toilet tanks. Takes a good ten minutes to do so, but its better than using a sponge or letting the water spill out. The Wolverine tool is also much bigger. This one fits in my tool bag.

Amazing "Scooper"
I bought this item to use in a cleanup and just can't get over how efficient it is. Now that I have it, I wouldn't want ever to be without one.

Works pretty well, but really greasy
Pros:1. Works pretty well (though I only tested it with water--not sure how it would fare with thicker fluids).2. Large fluid capacity.Cons:1. The inner tube and piston were covered with grease (silicone, I think). Good for lubrication, but bad because it will contaminate whatever fluid is being drawn in. When I tested it with water, the ejected water had an oily film on it. Not good if you plan to reuse the fluid being drawn, say like, engine coolant. To remedy this, I used a degreaser to remove all traces of the grease from the tube and piston.2. After the fluid is drawn, some fluid tends to dribble out of the flexible tube.3. The suction gun leaks air at the threads of the flexible tube end. This is fixed by using some Teflon tape to seal the threads.

Just what I need for large houseplants to avoid overflow!
Great for removing excess water in saucers under large houseplants. I used to use a turkey baster which was annoyingly slow. This suction gun pulls out much more water much faster. It does take a bit of strength to pull the plunger in the slow controlled motion to avoid sucking air bubbles past the seal. Mine did come complete with the tubing.
